Question: You said it yourself: It's all about calories in VS calories out. But these days, everyone is talking about counting your macros, I believe that carbohydrates are basically bad for losing weight, which I'm trying to do, but they are needed for everyday activities, such as walking, bycycling and so forth and so on. I'm trying to keep carbs to a minimum while I keep protein to the maximum, I eat a lot of meat (chicken, fish, sometimes turkey, I try to avoid red meat, it's like eating a steak I think, lots of fat in them) and vegetables. I'm using Intermittent Fasting, and I think I'll definitely succeed in losing as much fat as possible if I keep at it (which obviously is the case). SO HERE'S WHAT I'D LIKE TO ASK: Calories in and out VS counting macros: which leads to greater fat loss? I don't eat things like ice cream, I make my own with protein powder, I try to refrain from eating any sugar, maybe some fruits, but I keep them to a minimum. Thank you.
PS I'm using Intermittent Fasting (the eight-hour window method), basically eating twice a day, no junk/fastfood but things rich in nutrients
