Job Help!!!

First time posting thread so sorry if I mess up. So I've been trying to get a job for over a year but I don't get called for some reason. But yesterday I got a text from a company saying they wanted to give me an interview. The problem is I don't remember giving them my resume or applying to this job. The wierd thing is that they gave me an interview this morning but it was on Google hangout. After about 15-30 minutes of the interview he told me to hold for a couple of minutes while he and some other people analyze the interview. He came back and told me I was hired, but it all seemed so unofficial and shady. He told me to give him all information about me and stuff. The shady thing is, I've never met this guy and he already offered me a job. And the job also pays very well. 25$ per hour with 15$ paid training. This all seemed very shady. He hasn't asked for my social yet but if he does I won't give it to him. He also said I had to buy things needed for the job and that I'll get a check in the mail soon so I could buy everything. What do misc? This all seems to good to be true and seems very shady

Ok misc, I've concluded that this "job" is a scam. How do I report this? To the police or somewhere else? This is 100% srs

Or someone else? Who would you report a potential crime to your librarian? Maybe your garbage man? Seriously?

Actually I thought I had to report this to my mailman. But will they take my phone in for evidence?

You are only 17. Calm down, relax and do your best. Its not like you are 23 and just graduated from college. lol
