I always fill up empty handles of vodka with water and drink them throughout the day.

Just get a bottle of water and refill it. Being scared of BPA is pretty ****ing stupid, you should be more worried about bacteria if you don't clean it properly. Just don't use the same bottle for 2 years or some ****. I replace mine every couple of months, and a 2L bottle only costs like 95p

like above 2L pop bottle or if you dont need exact half gallon just try to fillup half of a milk gallon container
