Police said one of us is lying or misreading the situation.
Bitch straight up lied... even admitted she was "lost" and had to turn around at the last second, but stuck to her story about making a legal turn
Officer said he couldn't stand there all day and interrogate us and the insurance companies would have to decide

Report to your insurance asap
She will tell her insurance the same **** she told the cop
based on that point of impact, your story is obviously much more plausible (if she was in the left lane then wtf, you would have been trying to pass her over the center line)
your insurance will pay for your car and then attempt to recover from her insurance (you will have to pay your ded)
I dont know if your insurance will be successful though...without a police report in your favor or a witness
if her carrier calls you make sure you tell them your side of the story

This. Absolutely this. Try to find cameras or some way of proving your story. Right now it is your word vs hers, and the only thing you can hope for is she has previous stuff on her record.
Honestly, I would have believed her side of the story based on the damage. If she was in the right lane taking a left turn, I would imagine her vehicle being at a sharper angle and the damage being more on the back left side of her car instead of the bumper. The pictures make it look like she took a legal turn and you didn't slow down for her.The Legion of Good Samaritans.

She made a lane change/left hand turn out of the right lane. I heard her telling the cop she "missed" the turn or she was going the wrong way and she was "trying to turn around"... something along those lines
It was like she attempted a lane change and went to turn immediately... almost as if she got in to the left lane to make a left hand turn but got over WAYYYYYYY too late... not to mention i was just about to pass her. Its really tough to explain
she was in the right lane going under the speed limit and i was coming up to pass her on the left lane and she got over WAY too late to make that turn and cut me off

(Former insurance agent)
The fault of a driver can be determined in MANY ways, but I honestly can't see you being charged at fault for this one.
If she's going 15 BELOW the limit, technically, although she is well below the limit, she's still a problem. If you're trying to change lanes, you need to have a better rate of speed to get ahead of the driver you're attempting to pass, which, she did not. And if you're making an illegal turn, FROM ANOTHER LANE, then goddamn, that's already 2 strikes against you.
I can't see you being at fault for this one. I truly can't."ERMUHGAWD Crew"
