With the standard picks you have to individually lift each pin to the shear line and involves alot more skill and touch. something that comes with practice

The gun can be used by most with very little training. opened a abus 55/40 padlock within ten minutes of owning the gun. You insert the needle into the cyclinder and apply tension with your tension wrench and squeeze the trigger causing a super fast movement of the needle which raises the tumbler to the proper alignment.

    thanks brah

you insert the key into any lock the uses the same style of key and pull it out one click
then apply slight tension to the key as if you were turning it. then you hit the back of the key with a hard surface such as a piece of wood or screwdriver handle. they also make a bump key hammer made just for this.

When hit with the hard surface the tumblers(red in blue) will jump up and for a split second they will be properly lined up allowing the cylinder to turn.

Not something i really brag about to people i meet that i dont really know except for you guys now lol, cause it can easily give off a bad impression or give them the wrong idea

But other than that, yea my close friends know along with my family. my parents have actually have given me some tools as gifts before.
My friends that know about it also take advantage of it. If they lock their keys in their car, in their house, etc they call me before spending around $100 on a locksmith and i can generally do it

Just read up lock picking laws in Aus... apparently it is illegal to own pick sets here in Aus unless you are a Locksmith... And if i try and buy them from overseas they will most likely be confiscated by customs...

    on an average day-

with picks: Actual picking- 2 minutes Using a rake- anywhere from seconds to never lol

bump keys: less than 20 seconds once i determine the key type

lock pick gun: usually around 30 seconds, a minute tops

what is the significance of the numbers you're listing? (ie: 83/45) Lock models? depth/height of lock?

As long as it comes with a tension wrench then it should be ok depending on the price of course. dont spend more than 20-30 on a beginners set.

from personal experience though, i dont like the multi tools like this. my friend has one and loves it, but from the couple times i tried, it seemed harder to feel and control, but it could of just been cause by being used to my picks.

Thanks man, I get what you're saying, you have to grip it differently and its not as sensitive to feel as a individual tool, probably because of the thick handle.
