    All that "too much protein in one sitting is a waste" bs just a myth?

    Srs because I still have to down 3 meals in roughly 4 hours, unless I plan on pulling an all night just to get my cals in.

    It also rots in your digestive system, because it can't process all of it. This is why 90% of the misc gets protein farts (never had those cause I don't over do it).

    It doesnt matter WHEN you get your cals, but macros are still important to hit. Calories from protein are superior to calories from carbs or fat for building muscle, this is not a debate.

    how the is that all BS? You dont have an infinite amount of enzymes to cleave each amino acid off 150g of protein in one sitting. Common knowledge. You cant eat that much protein in one sitting, nor do you need to. Get your excess cals in fats and carbs, they'll be alot more beneficial to you.

    yes protein has calories. Anything over maintenance will get you fat. 1000 surplus i mean, could be chicken and oat meal still too much of a surplus will.

    Not really. You aren't going to build EXTRA MUSCLE because you ate 225g instead of 175g at 150lbs bodyweight. After you reach that limit of "enough protein" it just becomes an extremely inefficient energy source.

    used to eat ~250g a day and felt okay, i cut it down to ~120g-150g and replaced with carbs and fat (and i feel a lot better), still gaining and getting stronger. umad you protein nut hugging brahs?

    If you want me to find some studies I will that show that there is no difference between eating conventional meals versus intermittent fasting on preservation of lean mass or body proteins (eating 3-5 meals spread out vs fasting for 20 hours and eating same amount of calories in 4 hours).

    There is a limit to how much protein your body can use effectively, but its most likely pretty similiar to the amount thats maximally effective throughout the ENTIRE day.

    Body types do not exist. ectos do not have a "Faster" metabolism then endos. Their body is just use to surviving on less because food wasnt stuffed down their throat as a child. Homeostasis, read up on it bruh.

    could post up 100 studies.. you will still make gains with low protein intake, but you make BETTER gains with more.

    Even if your body doesnt use the protein (which is unlikely), for the body to convert protein to glucose, it burns up 30% of the calories in protein. A calorie is NOT a calorie when it comes to protein.

    1-1.5g/pound is ideal, this isnt even debatable lol..
