i am thinking i will be taking APE about an hour before my workouts on lifting days. no real reason for this other than curious to see how this would help. on nonlifting days i will probably just take it in the morning as i have been. i am loving the get up and go it offers in the morning so that is why i am going to try it with my preworkout. will probably not be buying anymore C4 lol. it was alright but not what i am looking for in a pre-WO supplement. i preferred longer lasting energy since i tend to stretch some of my workouts(especially deadlift focused workouts) into the 90+ minute range!
anyone got any suggestions for that?

lol honestly i got to give you 2 props. i wouldnt survive a serious cut like that! every once in a while i kind of go into a half ass cut where i only try and eat enough to maintain a weight range while burning off some extra fat. usually i am pretty successful this way but i have never cut down to the point where i can clearly see a six pack. you guys are crazy as fuk!!!
ofcourse, EPC is the only person i know that has cut 20+ pounds and increased his deadlift by 50+ at the same time

Great workout. wanted to go heavier on the deads but sticking with the program as written today lol. the only real new exercise were the Dimel deads. i liked them. looking for any advices on the goodmornings if you guys see room for improvement. if not that is good too nothing much else to comment on.

Recovery- My recovery time has been damn near phenomenal this week. usually if i had done that much squatting on Monday i would still look forward to some legs fatigue... today i had to stop myself from ripping 500 off the floor just to see if i could so yeah as far as helping the recovery processes APE gets an A++.
Mood- While it has helped my mood I have also noticed that my patience is a little shorter than normal. it doesnt take much to get me irritated but it is nothing too bad. i just put it down and take it out on the iron when i get in the gym.
Energy and Libido- has definitely improved. i forgot i was going to take APE as preworkout today so i took it in the morning as normal. no biggy. energy this last week has been through the roof. i go through a 10 hour workday(everyday), hit a workout, and my commute to work/gym is an hour to and from the house(my gym is about a block and a half from where i work). even after all that i get home and i am still going nostop! and even after all that i still have more than enough to perform my marital duties which the wife has definitely noticed a change but i ain't giving away the secret lol.
Other Observations- i have noticed in the last week that i have become "harder" and i dont mean my cawk. i forgot to check weight earlier so i will do it tomorrow but i would have to say i probably lost some weight this week(srs). while i am not exactly rocking the 8 pack, the stomach and love handles dont have as much pinch to them. if these type of results are the norm for APE then i will most likely go ahead and hit up the full 8 week cycle.
too bad tomorrow and Sunday are off days from working out and APE especially since tomorrow is another 10 hour work day!!!

Squats were awesome but i was definitely feeling the abuse to low back from Friday and work today. usually i wouldnt belt up for 315 but it is what it is. still nailed them pretty easily.
Front squats were awesome and deep as fuk on the vid trust me when i say that 230 LOOKS easier than it was today.
Hacks killed my poor little quads. too many people were around me so couldnt get a vid but i am pretty sure my form is getting better.
Bridges killed dem glutez GHRs were extremely uncomfortable today. pulled hard as hell on the hamstrings right near the back of my knee(left). so i canned the exercise before injury(hopefully). i need a replacement for these. Russian twists killed the abs and obliques.

lol i am glad you bumped that post Bob, i weighed in at 221(+1 pound from start of log) today.... and the midsection is definitely more solid(although as mentioned i am not raocking the sixer).
i have already decided that if i can afford it i will be grabbing another bottle of APE and carrying on as planned. hopefully by the end of this log i still have my job!!! we are in the middle of layoffs and i am still the new guy right now so.....

update: i have managed to be fairly fukked up this week. i put my car in the shop yesterday for some of its routine maintenance(timing belt, etc.) and i left my APE in the car so today i missed it. i also managed to miss my workout today mostly due to a 13 hour workday got to make that money! will make up the workout tomorrow

Despite my knee issues I wanna try and make em work so I can build up more muscle around them.
it was when i joined this site and got vids up that my squat finally started to look semi-respectable. for me checking the ego wasnt difficult since i have by far been stronger with a full ROM than i ever was with a partial quarter squat.
i was also "lucky" that i hadnt trained very long on squats before i realized i was fukking them up. i suggest getting a vid and posting it either in your journal(if you plan to keep one) or post it up in here. there is a poster in the Misc Strength Crew named austin.t.taylor that always has the best advice for correcting any deficiencies in squat form. another poster named Farley1324(dont remember the numbers lol) also has a very good coaching eye for them. if you post a vid up i will get them both to critique it. most of the time flexibility is the issue most people have trouble with
