So i figured i would lay out the new diet i am following. When I started it was a HIGH protein, HIGH fat, an LOW carb diet... worked very well! It seems i have lost weight, and gained LOTS of definition, but at the same time my muscles don't seem as full as they could be.
here you go guys...
THE NEW DIET
MEAL #1
1 CUP LIQUID EGG WHITES
1/2 CUP OATMEAL
1 CUP ORGANIC WHOLE MILK
1/2 SCOOP PROTEIN FOR FLAVOR
MEAL #2
8 OZ CHICKEN BREAST
8 OZ SWEET POTATO
SALAD
1 TBSP OLIVE OIL

2 SCOOPS PROTEIN
3/4 CUP OATMEAL
1 BANANA
MEAL #4
8 OZ LEAN GROUND BEEF OR STEAK
2/3 CUP BROWN RICE

Haha,
the plan is GAIN Muscle, LOSE Fat. I guess with that many carbs it would be a bulk, BUT its not a bulk. All i am doing is experimenting with my body i have never been so strict about dieting and training until now well (JAN 15TH 2012) to be exact. I'm a newbie in the game of bodybuilding... just trying to get to know my body thats allIBP Powerlifter 181lb

Well technically, what you are trying to do is quite hard gaining muscle requires caloric excess and fat loss requires caloric deficit. However, I do think you can both over a 7 day period for example by varying the timing. Its not the amount of carbs, its the timing of the carbs. One of my friends, ekazmar
, dropped signifigant body fat (down to 5% from <20) keeping his arbs 250g and higher. However, never ate a non veggie carb after 1:00 for example.
Another reason people carb cycle has to do with the idea of upping carbs on weight training days and low on cardio days.
It also can have to do with how you pair your carbs, proteins fats too. What macros and calories are you planning fo the next couple weeks?

nice!!! Looking like a surfer/thug.. lol
....hey, have you tried carb cycling with high fat on low carb days. And vice versa.. I do that 3 days then I bump carbs for my leg day after.. then back to the low carb... it works well...and not hungry 'cause the fat helps it.. essential fats.. so instead of carbs, my body uses the fat for energy..
Once I incorporate cardio, I should be where I want to be...Henry Pun ---->>> http://www.********.com/iamhyp

JUGGERNAUTS Pulling Together.
The greatest accomplishments in life are not achieved by individuals alone, but by proactive people pulling together for a common good. Look behind every winner and you will find a great coach. Look out in front of every superstar and you will see a positive role model. Look alongside every great achiever and you will find caring people offering encouragement, support and able assistance.
Rising to this level of interdependent thinking can be challenging and difficult. Looking beyond oneself, asking for help or accepting help can feel risky. But people are not given life to simply take from one another.
We are here to give. Our mission in life is to offer our gifts to benefit one another, to create mutual gain in the world. This is called teamworka win/win mindset stemming from a genuine commitment to the rules that allow it to happen.
