    Weak Deadlifts on SS

I have been doing SS for about 3 weeks now and I've seen good gains in all my lifts except for deadlifts which I struggle with every time. My squats are flying by my deadlifts every week. Is this a serious problem or will this problem eventually resolve itself with more lifting on SS?

    3 week progress

    Squats 135 - 235 (parallel)
    Bench 135 - 160
    OHP 75 - 100
    Row 75 - 115
    Deadlift - 135 - 205 ( just barely got 5th rep, tried 215 and I could only get 3 reps)
    Body weight 152 - 155

Could be bad form. Or you just have a weak back, which means you need to work harder

You're just 10 pounds behind from your squat, what's the big deal? You've made significant progress.

On the 225 deadlift i didn't get all 5 reps so I'm gonna try 215 next workout. I'm worried that my squat will keep advancing while my deadlift moves much slower which will create a large gap in between the two

You've put 70 lbs on your deadlift and 100 lbs on your squat in 3 weeks rofl. I don't think there's anything to be worrying about other than your squat is probably high.

    This.

Keep doing the program, It's not like your repping out 300's yet. It's probably a form issue.

The first couple sessions of squat I wasn't going parallel but since then I've been using a small box to make sure I hit the parallel point at the bottom. I will just keep on doing more deadlifts and try find any form problems

From these numbers I'd guess you've been lifting weights for some time, hence the tendency to push things too fast too soon

Do check up if your form is looking fine, no point lifting 235lbs if you end up with above parallel squats or if you end up GMing the weight
