Doge was sick for a couple days and had to go to the vet. I was off work with her the last couple days to monitor her. Feeling better and back to daycare for her today, so I'll be off to the gym for deadlifts tonight.
A couple highlights of training I guess lately would be
squat 300x8
bench press 195x8, 220x2

Thanks she is doing a lot better.
She was vomiting non-stop for a little over a day, so the vet had to put her on IV with some meds to help clear her system of whatever was ailing her.
Took blood tests and xrays and all came back normal, so most likely licked or ate something on a walk that messed with her.the latest and greatest in training...or whatever.

Reps were very fast, beltless, and DOH.
So I am weak, but not as weak as I thought.

It is a cute shibes but mine is even cuter.
I have never hated deadlifts I have just struggled with technique for a long time now after I strained my bicep a couple years ago. I have restrained it twice in that time and so I think frustration more than anything caused me to lose some faith in my form and make me paranoid I'll keep ****ing my bicep up.
But it's holding up decent these days after I instituted high rep curls of some sort after every workout for a couple sets.the latest and greatest in training...or whatever.

Good stuff man! Hate hill sprints, but I need to bring them back in. Conditioning has to be a part of any routine, I'm hearing

No numbers in mind. Just trying to get 1 under my belt so I know what to expect next time out.
We've shelled out nearly 2k in unforeseen expenses the last few weeks, so I am just trying to figure out how to make it work now.
Either way I've spent the year basically rebuilding my base, so I have no expectations other than to learn.
Definitely keeps you fitter and more explosive I think.
Probably no coincidence that my laziness in terms of conditioning the past year is one reason I was getting injured more frequently.
I can still do 3 plates for 8-10 reps lol. Just tired so an off day.
Been doing lots of sub max work and reps to just keep building the base up.

Did 135x6 a few weeks back, still feeling tired but this isn't bad.

Dips BW 2x5
Pullups BW x 9 or 10 total?

Facepulls 1x25
Long week caught up with me so I just wanted to do a couple sets of high rep work of a variety of movements.
Now that I've managed to spend some time getting my lifts fairly close to where they were earlier this year I can try to refocus efforts on conditioning and losing weight while maintaining a semblance of strength.the latest and greatest in training...or whatever.

Yeah pretty much going to be doing hill sprints at least 2 x week. Deadlift and Squat days.
I have my kettlebells at home, so a couple days a week I will probably do some snatch or swing ladders too if I don't want to do hill sprints or need to give my feet a rest.
I may follow Simplest Strength Template again since I like the layout, but I may keep the lower body days lower volume due to the conditioning.
thankya sir.the latest and greatest in training...or whatever.
