How much weight can you squat?

    Questions:

    1. How much do you weigh?
    2. How much weight can you squat now (3 x 5 preferably)?
    3. how much could you squat when you started?

I am doing SS. Started with the empty bar and had chronic patellar tendonitis from playing too much football (soccer). I now weigh 12 and a half stone and my squat is 90kg for three sets of five. My patellar tendonitis has healed from squatting below parallel.

    EDIT: inb4 bout tree fiddy

I have squat 205lbs one night as I was curious to see how much I could do, but I always workout 5x5 w/135lbs and go down past parallel. I see many many guys at my gym who pile on the plates but only go down about a foot, so id say its more about technique than weight.

    1) 180 lbs as of yesterday
    2) 170kg (374lbs) 3 x 5.
    3) 70 kg at 18 when i started.

Had ACL reconstruction 3 years ago and couldn't lift chit for months took me a long time to get back to where I am. More importantly than squatting you should manage your tendonitis. I've played rugby and football since I was 8 years old. Throw in cross country, and cricket my body has been through alot. It's about managing your joints more. I do yoga and extensive stretching, whilst ensuring I take joint supplements religiously.
    ☆☆☆υк ˘яєω☆☆☆

You better bring your wellies, because we'll be knee deep in clunge.

    Deadlift 235kg (518lb)
    Squat 190kg (418lb)
    Bench 137.5kg (303lb)

Lifts current as of 01/2014 done with a tear through the posterior horn of the lateral meniscus of the left knee. Put in work.

Best max: 550lbs in the summer of 2011

    Current max: low 400's.

Been a while since I've done 3x5 but last 1 RM was 395. Last 1x5 was three fiddy lbs (srs). Might want to ask this in the PLing/Oly section for higher numbers if that's what you're looking for.

    6'3" 223 lbs last I checked.

When I started maybe 115 or 120 for 3x5. Could have been lower. Don't remember for sure.

    When I did squat 225 ATG x 15.

you don't need to squat regardless of what most "bro's" think. http://www.bodyrecomposition.com/mus...-big-legs.html

Squats irritate my low back no matter how I do them. I haven't completely given up but i no longer go "heavy."

Been practicing low bar squats. I have a very hard time keeping the bar balanced without the assistance of my hands. My wrists are not very flexible resulting in pain. Carpal Tunnel syndrome doesn't help.

Back squats are my last hope for squatting.

175 on dat bulky time. 240lbs 3x5 squat parallel not ATG

    No one uses stone ffs.

Why would you give your body weight in stone then your lift weight in KG. Please be more consistent.

    Could you say that again?

What flexibility do you need in your wrists to hold the bar slightly lower? You do realise a low bar squat is a normal squat i.e BACK SQUAT, just with the bar resting lower down your back.

The flexibility you speak of would make FRONT SQUATS difficult. I have the same problem and I'm trying to stretch it out.

Think you got a little confused there.

    Last time I squatted, I did 275 lbs x 10 ATG at 155 lbs.

I feel like the rest of my body needs to catch up, so I'm taking a break from squatting until my deadlift is 50 lbs above my squat weight.
