    Get a medical opinion please

You are nuts for taking the word of the anonymous monkeys on this site. This is your health dude. Just because some dude on here says "protein can't hurt you, I drink it all day and I'm just fine", don't take that as educated medical advice. There are plenty of people who will tell you the same thing about HGH and steroids. When I was younger, I had a physical and my bloodwork came back all jacked up. The protein levels in my urine and blood were way out of whack, and my doctor was going to send me to a renal specialist. I told him I was drinking protein shakes and he told me I was headed for dialysis in 20 years if I didn't stop. I did stop and my next test 6 months later was perfectly normal. That's just me. Don't take my word for it. Go see a doctor and get a medical opinion. The supplement industry is not regulated by the FDA and doesn't go through the normal inspections and rigorous analysis that pharma and food does. It's a billion dollar industry and you are wasting money in my opinion. A smart diet of lean protein animal and veggie sources will be much better for you over the long term. The people responding to you on this site aren't thinking of what their intake will do to them in 15 or 20 years. You may be fine drinking all that crap right now, but if your genetic makeup has a predisposition toward renal problems, your high protein intake could be the trigger that sends you into a chronic problem in your 40s, 50s or 60s. Someone else may never develop the problem. It's a game of russian roulette. Are you willing to chance it? I'm not.

Prove it. I assume since you can say unequivocally that it is "EXACTLY" the same, you are a scientist and are in the labs where the protein is created. Please tell us your job and education.

No, there is no significant difference between the protein from protein powder and the protein in anything else.

So to me still no conclusion but from the information I've gained so far it's safe to do what I'm doing and no health problems will come up in the future. I hope haha. Thank you everybody for your input. If anyone comes up with hard evidence I would still like to know. Thanks again.
I took protein shakes as a substitute for meals. I now have a liver problem

protein shakes DO damage your kidneys !!

and pro's dont even drink that much protein ! they are getting paid to drink that shake on that video you watched!

someone above said theres no evidence of protein damaging kidneys............ WTF THERES HEAPPPSSSSSS OF EVIDENCE??!!

i literally just got a test back saying my kidney enzymes were elevated all due to protein powder

protein powder does nothing compared to food anyway, common sense should tell you this

DO NOT LISTEN TO THESE PEOPLE,,, ASK A PROFESSIONAL !
