"The fitness and nutrition world is a breeding ground for obsessive-compulsive behavior. The irony is that many of the things people worry about have no impact on results either way, and therefore aren't worth an ounce of concern."--Alan Aragon

If it's the leg press using a weight stack, you ned to be careful not to overload it too much. The cable can snap, which could injure you, and put the equipment out of use.
If you find the full weight stack to be too easy, firstly ensure you are using good form. It's amazing how many people who use the leg press use the full stack, but use awful form. Better form at a lower weight is better!
If you are using good form, you could utilise another method, such as drop sets, high volume\low rest reps, etc. Failing that, find an alernative exercise: front squats for quads, Romanian deadlifts for hamstrings.Love to train.... hate gyms!
