How many times can you bench 275?? (POLL)*

After watching Lee Labrada's vid on training to failure I decided I'd give it a try on a few exercises today and since it was chest/biceps today I went ridiculously hard. Did 275 for 13 full ROM repetitions and everyone was mirin. I think I'll go to failure on bench every few months, next being 315. Anyway how many can you do misc?

Yea.. I did. I've always had impeccable bench form even when I first started lifting I made it a point to keep my back flat on the bench, feet on the ground, and let the bar touch (not bounce off) my chest. Honestly maybe a foot came off the ground for the last 2 reps but that's it. (srs)

I can usually get 5 or 6. Used to be able to get 10, but still trying to get back to full strength after past shoulder surgery.

your one sad kunt man. 99% of lifters? Maybe if you consider people who hit the gym twice a week "lifters" Ive been lifting for 3 years and can hit 275 once, but those 3 years were

highly inconsistent. I firmly believe if your average joe lifted consistently for 18 months he could get to 275. Probably less.
