    Are my macros too high for my leangains cut?

    I'm 5'7", 168lbs and roughly 16% bodyfat.

    I started the cut last Monday and will be weighing myself tomorrow morning.

    I used the IF calculator on 1percentedge.com and edited it for -35% (rest) and +10 (workout) below/above my recommended daily calorie intake.

    I am looking at around;

    1,500 calories (P:178g, C: 50g, F: 65g) - Rest.
    2,950 calories (P:178g, C: 420g, F: 50g) - Workout.

    Apparently leading to a -1.12lb loss each week.

    I'm currently doing the 5/3/1 routine three days a week since starting IF.

    Tomorrow will give me an idea of how well this has worked. However, today was the first time that I actually hit 420g of carbohydrates out of my three workout days and I couldn't help but feel that it seemed like a lot of carbohydrates to consume on a cut - whether it be a workout day or not.

    With my stats, is 420g of carbohydrates too much to consume during a cut? Would it be worth dropping down to say 320g instead?
