    Bumper Plates maintanence

ı have 2 x 25 kg york rubber bumper plates from 80's , they are very precious for me so ı wanna keep them in a good condition , what can ı do for rubber parts ? wiping down with liquid soap is enough or should ı use some particular products for rubber parts ?

I've never tried it on bumpers but I often use armourall on my car tyres to shine them up and protect them. Maybe try a bit of that and wipe it off. lifelineUSA recommend that you use armourall on there cable sets to protect them. I can't imagine that it would do any harm, but maybe try it out on an inconspicuous part. Would probably be a good idea to clean them first.

i might be wrong but i thought i remember from some automobile forums i used to frequent a long time ago that armorall actually isnt good in the long run because of the silicone in it and it eventually dries out your rubber and plastic parts on your car

then again, they were recommending a different brand, mcguire's maybe? so i dont know if its true or not

Pledge furniture polish works better than Aromorall on car dashes and tires without the drying-0ut effect. I see no reason why it wouldn't do just fine on bumper plates too.

Everybody around here is a ----ing comedian, or something. Besides, nakres1984 is in Turkey, so the shipping would be too steep. Don't you remember York 25 kg Olympic Plates ?

You need a good rack, a bench, and a 300-lb Olympic weight set. Now, what was your question?

    we're something all right.

I wouldn't be surprised if you looked into those shipping charges from Turkey, just in case.
