Does protein packaging have to be airtight?

Got myself a new 10lb bag of gold standard 100%whey protein the other day and i didnt open the bag properly. So when i squeeze the bag some air still escapes, so just wondering if it ruins the protein or not or if it has to be airtight?

if you have any containers around then just dump the powder in there.

If you dont, then go McGuyver style and use some tape, a paper clip, and a rubber band to seal it
