    All American*EFX Karbolyn/I-Rush STACK log

This will be my first log and I want to thank All American EFX and sixthsence for making it happen. This is the stack I will be logging
    Flavor-strawberry strike

My workouts are going to be different than what is normally logged. I follow the crossfit main site. I was a weight lifter for 2 years but have been doing crossfit for a year now. I feel like using this supplement should make a big difference in my endurance, as crossfit WODS (workout of the day) are usually pretty demanding. *Even though I have done crossfit for a year now I still have days where I can't sit after a leg day and can't wait to see what kind of effect Karbolyn and I-Rush have on this. I'm starting this log at 162 lbs and 10-13% body fat.

This was my workout today, I completed it in 16:23

    Five rounds for time of:
    Row 500 meters
135 pound Bench press, 15 reps.

I took 1 scoop Karbolyn and 1 serving I-rush about 30 minutes before my workout.
1-Strength/Rep Increase- it is hard to say based in this workout i did today because 135 is pretty light but, rowing went pretty smoothly and benching burned but was definently able to push through.
2-Sustained Workout Energy- I was able to push the through the burn with out issue until the end
3-Focus Enhancement-didnt notice anything here, but every work out is focused. We will see how I feel about this tomorrow
4-Pumps- at the end my biceps, back, and forearms were bulging
5-Side Effects (or lack thereof)- had dry mouth right after drinking
    6-Taste- tastes great
7-Overall assessment- I felt like a I had a really good workout for the first day, my training partner is much better at rowing than I am and a much stronger bench so I expected him to beat me but I hung on there and he just edged me out. I was able to take less breaks than him. Post workout I had 1 scoop Karbolyn and 1 serving I-rush my legs feel much better already

    Day 2 completed 12 rounds*
On day two I did a CrossFit Hero WOD- Nate, it as an AMRAP WOD which stands for as many rounds as possible. The WOD looks like this
    AMRAP in 20 Minutes:*
    2 muscle-ups,
    4 handstand push-ups
    8 2-pood kettlebell swings (72 lbs )

I had a long slow day at workout today, the kind of day that make you just feel like blah. But any ways ingot off work and had a protein shake and banana at about 4:30. I just piddled around the house with my son until 600, when it was time time to take 1 scoop Karbolyn and 1 pill I-rush 30 minutes before my workout.

Once at the gym I felt much better. I could feel the Karbolyn in my muscles. I performed this workout on January 10, 2012, back then I had only been crossfitting for a couple of months and I only did one round of muscle ups and subbed 3 pull ups and 2 ring dips *per muscle up, so I competed 7 rounds in 20 minutes. I am in much better shape now compared to then, but muscle ups are very demanding and wear you out very fast. I'm glad to say that this time I completed my muscle ups every round and didn't have a problem with HSPU or KB swings, I felt like I had the energy needed throughout the workout all they way until the buzzer. I felt like i was in the zone for the whole 20 minutes.
Normally HSPU *and a heavy KB swing will feel you up with lactic acid pretty quick but I felt like it was put off until about my 8 round or so was when I finally started to feel the burn but even then it was slight. The dry mouth I mentioned yesterday wasn't There today so maybe it wasn't from the Karbolyn and I-rush after all, I'll continue to check for it. I had another scoop of Karbolyn and pill of i-rush post workout and I feel good.

I would say that I saw a positive response today from this stack.

yesterday was an off day for me so i got some much needed rest.
Day 4 was a strength day for me, my WOD was
    Deadlift 5-5-5-5-5 reps
It doesnt sound like much but most days are so intense that you need a day like this.
I drank 1 serving Karbolyn and one serving I-rush 45 minutes preworkout, a half a serving karbolyn*intra-workout, and one serving both Karbolyn and I-rush post workout.

I didnt feel like working out as i was getting started, I had a pretty good warm up and it helped me get kicked in. I started my set with 225 and it went to easy that I didn't want to count it as part of my 5x5. So I jumped up in weight and this is what I did 255-275-295-345-375 I hit every rep with ease up until 375 when in the 4th rep I finally felt myself holding my breath instead of breathing but the 5th rep came up to complete the set.

At this point I felt great I had a good pump going I didn't want to quit so i set out to beat my PR which i set back in may at 400. I went 405 and it came up easy so I took a break and went after 410, it came up but not easily but I set a new or at 410! This whole time I kwas sipping on Karbolyn, I didn't feel as fatigued as I normally would have after pushing out some decent weight on deadlifts. I think sipping on it intra work out really helped keep me fueled. There was no dry mouth today!
I'll continue to take intra workout on strength days for sure. Its been 2 hours since I worked out and i still feel the pump everywhere.

    Day 5
Today I took 1 serving k-lyn and one I-Rush 30 min preworkout. Normaill I was taking the same dose post workout but it is depleting my k-lyn very fast so today I am going to try cutting down to half a dose k-lyn and one dose I-rush post workout. I feel like taking a whole serving post work really helped my recovery time speed up and I'm hoping cutting it in half won't effect it too much.

Today my WOD Looked like this: completed in 6:44
    Three rounds for time of:
135 pound Squat clean, 10 reps
    20 Box jump, 24" box

Squat cleans have always been pretty tough for me but today I think I probable performed them the best I ever had. I made a point to work on them a couple days a week and it paid off. I felt like my legs handle the load pretty well today and the fatigue was put off a little while. I actually expected the squat cleans to be more difficult for me but it was the box jumps that fatigued me more or felt harder due to the squat cleans either way I was able to push through with minimal rest. It is amazing what this does for me, since starting this log I quit taking my pwo completely and rely on the push from this stack and it easily gets the job done.

    5 Rope climb, 15 ft
50 Box jump, 24 inch box
    25 Overhead squats, 65 pounds
    25 L-pull-ups
    50 Sit-ups

This was a great WOD and definently tested my fuel source. *I felt like I had the fuel to push through everything, it was my lungs that didn't handle the workout well. I normally struggle with overhead squats and i know 65 lbs is light but after pushing through the exercises prior it didn't feel light like when I was warming up. But they were a breeze for how winded I was and I was able to break the 25 Into 2 sets and finish quickly. The L-pull-ups was the exercise I struggled the most with and while I was only able to do 5 my first attempt I kept a solid 3 per attempt after while my buddies who are not taking Karbolyn or anything other than a pwo were getting 1 at a time. I think thats where my strength and endurance from the Karbolyn really showed up. *I was able to finish this wod almost 5 minutes ahead of the others.

I think Karbolyn and I-rush really stepped up today.

We had a new guy wanting to try it so we told him to scale the weight down but he said it was too light to scale that he could handle it, and he was right it was light but when you push your self so hard squatting down below parallel and then box jumps.....he barely finished the first round with 135 and scaled down to 115 an still finished 10 minutes later that everyone. You can't judge these WODs on paper they are deceiving. You should give it a try lol it will be fun.
By the time got to L-pull-ups my abs were screaming!

And its for time So you dont rest between sets

I don't know what kind of training style you have crossfit really helps boost your endurance and makes your muscles work when they want to give up. It's one of those " it's hurts so bad, but feels so good" kind of things lol. I always tell anyone to try it at least before writing or off let me know of you ever get to do a wod, always interested to
    See what others think.

Today I tried something a little different. I dosed 1 serving Karbolyn and 1 serving I-rush one hour pre workout. I haven't taken a pwo supp since starting this log, but today I didn't have the get up and go. I would have liked to take Top Secret Nutrition's Cardio Igniter but my wife told me I better not touch her pwo supp. So I took 1 serving of UspLabs Jack3d Micro.*
    Three rounds for time of:
45 pound GHD Bench press, 15 reps
    25 Back extensions
    Run 800 meters

This wod went very well! The GHD bench press were pretty tough warming up I didn't think I would be able to complete them with out breaking, but all 3 rounds I was able to pump them out! Back extensions were tough for some reason my lower back was pretty tight today but i was able to break into sets of two with a couples seconds breath and then back on them to finish. The runs felt great probably the easiest of the 3 exercises for me. I felt like I**had the stamina to crush them so I did. I wish I would have kept splits on them. I know the last one was around 3.5 minutes. It's hard to feel the pump during the WOD because I'm so focused on keeping pushing, but once i was done just about every muscle was bulging.
I didnt take any Karbolyn or i-rush post workout in an effort to stretch the supply a little farther, I am going through it too fast.

I personally found I like Karbolyn as my intra. It gives me sustained energy that helps me through the rest of my workout.

Today I took 1 serving of Karbolyn and I-rush pre workout and 1 serving Karbolyn intra workout.
My lower back was pretty tight today and i really had to loosen it up today before working out.
    Today I had
    Push press 3-3-3-3-3-3-3 reps*
    135-155-165-185-195-205F-200F
    200 and 205 if i didn't complete all 3 reps I considered it a miss.
195 was my 1RM in this exercise so I am very glad that i was able to do it 3x today. Taking Karbolyn intra workout really helped keep me feeling fresh today. It taste so good it was hard to sip on it and not gulp it.
all in all did have a rep increase and i felt stronger. I did go down to 190 and complete the two sets I failed at.

Wow had a killer WOD Today I didn't know of i could finish it! For those not familiar with crossfit they have special WODs called hero WODs in honor of a fallen solider. These hero WODs are very tough and we try to honor them by not scaling any part of it annual pushing until its complete.
    "Glen"

    For time: 35:45
135 pound Clean and jerk, 30 reps
    Run 1 mile
15 foot Rope climb, 10 ascents
    Run 1 mile
    100 Burpees

I felt good going into workout today I took 1 serving Karbolyn and 1 I-rush. I think I Am down to one serving of Karbolyn left and that makes me very sad! *In also took one serving the gym with me to take intra workout because I knew this would be a demanding wod and i could use the extra energy. However i did the first 30 reps clean and jerks in just under 3 minutes and went to my shaker to get a sip then took off for my first mile. I was already very winded from the 30 reps. About 800m in I got really bad dry mouth and all could taste was the Karbolyn's sweetness. I kept everything down and continued finished the mile took a swallow of Karbolyn and chased it with a swallow of water to wash down the sweetness. It was in the rope climbs where I felt the Karbolyn really helped me push through when my legs and arms were fatigued. I for through them with no problem! I quickly for started on my next mile and it SUCKED Only because at this point I was breathing very hard. My legs And arms were feeling kinda refreshed the pain had gone away a little. After that mile I drank some more Karbolyn gathered my self for a second and began my 100 burpees. I had my buddy in front of me this whole time, I was about 2:00 behind him when I began my burpees. Before I knew it he was at 30 burpees and i was at 25! My first 50 went fairly easy my arms and legs *didnt feel heavy like they normally do due to burpee i attribute to the Karbolyn and I-rush. I finished about 2:30 in front of him!
After the wod the gym owner who had just finished this wod when I walked into the gym and my training partner couldn't believe the rate I was able do the burpees. So they asked if i was taking anything and of course untold them a week ago that was logging stack but they didn't pay attention I guess, but i got their attention now and they said they were going to check it out when they got home!
Besides the dry mouth today which was probably because i was sucking air. I was very pleased with this stack today it worked so well it got people's attention.
Sorry *for writing a book. Lol
