Quite simple really - any advice/experience on shakes that work well for fast mass gain. Currently on maximuscle progain extreme which is both expensive and seemingly un-effective. Done some research and names that keep coming up are Optimum Pro complex gainer, Mhp up your mass, Mutant mass and Matrix lean mass xt. Thoughts?

Doesn't matter. Bulking comes down to your overall caloric intake
Wanna bulk fast? Eat more. But going about this fast is just a fast track to being fat

i agree with d4anny3 and daviey. monster mass by cytosport is great. my best suggestions is take a low calorie protein like syntha 6 or anything really. i think whey is the best because it digest fast and u can eat whole foods within 1o minutes without feeling like a slob. do protein shots. i scoop of protein with 3-4 oz of water all throughout the day. try to do do your body weight in protein.

You can drink all the shakes you want.. but, you're not going to gain ANY mass unless you know what your caloric maintenance level is.
Once you find that out, increase it by 250-500 calories daily for every pound you want to gain weekly.
Depending on the speed of your metabolism (and amount of physical activity) you'll want to play around with those numbers.. increase if necessary.
The opposite is done for losing weight.
Take it easy!

the whey and caesine things were meant to be his supplement regime while 'maintaining high caloric intake' was supposed to refer to taking whole foods....
the reason is that suppose wieght gain supplement calories are very expensive.....
also just having a high caloric intake without lots of protien would lead to fattening not 'bulking' as he would like...........
