what are the benefits doing partial ROMs?

Do you still gain some strength and hypertrophy doing partials?
    Staying focused is key.
    Control. Focus. Concentrate. Meditate. Discipline.
Only care whats significant to you and nothing else.

i think partial ROM is good for SOME exercises and only when used sparingly. These are just my results from my years of training, but i have found partials as a good way to either warm up or finish off a bodypart. Say for example rope pushdowns on triceps. I will use partial ROM here to warm up or finish a tricep workout because the partial allows me to keep constant tension on the tricep and results in a massive pump.

9/10 times people do partial ROM to increase the weight they are using, that makes you a douche. There are some good reasons to use partial ROM (see above), but usually the biggest benefit is telling the other gym bros that you can lift 50% more than what you can actually lift with proper ROM.

    This.

Also, some individuals may need to perform partial repetitions for purposes of injury prevention.
Bodybuilding is 60% training and 50% diet. Yes that adds up to 110%, because that's what you should be giving it. Change the inside, and the physique will follow.
