    Is 1200 calories too low?

Recently, I've been eating around 1200-1300 calories and it feels too low. I'm not hungry, but from what I understand, this is a low amount that will ruin my metabolism. I was consuming about 1500-1700 calories until I started tracking my macros. Ever since, I have stuck with my macros and gotten in my protein, which fills me up so quickly. I don't feel hungry at all and it's definitely scaring me!
    Summation of problem:
    1. not hungry despite only consuming 1200 calories
    2. BMR estimated to be around 1479 calories/day
    3. I am trying to lose weight (I am 139 lbs, trying to get to 120)
    4. Doing roughly 40 minutes of cardio on stairstepper or treadmill (varying HITT and LISS)
Is 1200-1300 caloric consumption a healthy number/safe number for my activity level?

You are 17, 139lbs and trying to cut down to 120lbs?????

How tall are you? Normally, you should cobsume 250-500 calories less than your TDEE, which means you would be okay for cutting. But at your age and weight i wouldnt be so worried about losing weight. How about you get on a strength routine and try and gain some lean mass?

You mention nothing about working out, only cardio. A solid weightlifting routine, at your age with high test and a growing body, lifting weights would likely have you gaining mass and trimming on some fat.

Anyways, its hard to say without more info like your height, or pictures, but based on the little info provided, id say you shouldnt be trying to lose weight

It's too low. Don't cut as a teen unless you are truly overweight.
    It's your diet.
