Those leg ext's + press supers look like they'd kill! Nice to see some tibia work in there, too! Most people never even think to incorporate it...hell, most gyms don't even have a tibia raise machine.

It burns so much more than calf raises, I just use a dumbell and put my heels on the edge of a bench

lol like I said it's not terribly exciting. Shredu and myself are taking the missus' on a cruise at the end of November around New Caledonia. So now that means a change in training! Keep bulking until August then I'll be going on my very first cut

I'm always willing to help. But, keep in mind - it would be highly theoretical coming from me. I don't do the "bulk/cut" cycle. I don't like getting fat, and I don't like starving

should be a nice trip mate.
a 2 month cut before would be awesome once you get past the permabulk cravings.

You know I'm always up for a theoretical discussion!

Well, "theoretically" I prefer to give cardio it's own days when I do it. I also prefer to do it at night - and not eat afterwards. I also prefer to take carbs out on cardio days, thus, lowering my calories. So, if I do weights 4 times a week - and cardio twice a week - that means that twice a week I'm cycling my calories/carbs low while maintaining my normal intake the 4 days I lift.
Here is the "theory" part of it: Your body will adjust to any prolonged reduction in calories by lowering your metabolic rate. But, by just taking it down temporarily, you keep the same metabolic rate while throwing in a couple days of reduced intake. It also spares you from catabolic activity during your lifting days...this is why I like to keep them separate. It sounds a little pseudo-sciency...and I suppose it is, but it typically works for me (when I do cardio).

Interesting stuff, definitely something to keep in mind. What type of cardio do you usually do? HIIT or lower intensity for a set time?

If I were doing cardio, I would be doing something along the lines of running for 2 min/walking for 3 in cycles. But, that's mainly because that's about as long as I can run If you can run longer - might as well.

Have you heard of the Fartlek training method? http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fartlek

I just nod, and let them go with it.
