My favorite food is probably doughnuts, but I can usually control myself with them. One food I don't have any control with is Cheez-Its. For what ever reason they have finagled their way into my brain as being a "just a handful and I'll be good" food. BUT, I can't do just a handful. It ends up being more and more and more. I can't keep them in the house because I can't not eat them.

I feel the same way! I Also don't understand how black licorice has "red vines" on the package. American licorice co is across the bay and I woukd love to Tske a tour. Occasionally I like red licorice and redvines makes a nice 1 lb bag of a mix of black and red nibs. Heaven!

I lOve those! I have a gum ball machine a home that I'd fill with either good n plentys or jelly bellies - both of which are crack to me. Feels kind of weird running around the house searching for pennies to feed the machine and my addiction so I say eff it and unscrew the top which kind of defeats the purpose I guess.
I also love coconut anything especially coconut cream pie and chocolate cream pie too.A successful woman is one who can build a firm foundation with the bricks others have thrown at her

I think you're right
Licorice is one of those things people seem to really love or really hate. I dig thr euro types and also Australian licorice. The brits make a mix called Alsorts which is black licorice sandwiched with coconut or chocolate etc. sounds deplorable but hell I've gone there lmao!A successful woman is one who can build a firm foundation with the bricks others have thrown at her

I know licorice can raise blood pressure and levels of aldosterone if consumed in mass quantity. It has medicinal purposes too as an expectorant, liver cleanser, ulcers etc. it's also 50 times sweeter than sugar!A successful woman is one who can build a firm foundation with the bricks others have thrown at her

Guess who's going to teh Cheesecake Factory tomorrow night? Yup me! My daughter's birthday is Sunday and we always go celebrate at the Factory. The bad part of it is that because they don't take reservations, we will be waiting about 1.5 hours for a table. Oh well, the one we go to is on top of Macy's so we shall just busy ourselves spending money there til we are paged. It's a plot, I tell you.

Another vote for licorice. Anything that tastes like Ouzo is built of win! My wife and her brother are big fans of the Springley cookies (the anise flavored ones) but they make the funniest faces when I break out the ouzo.
Pie is a big weakness...doesn't even have to be a particular kind. It's the only way I can stomach sweet potatoes, lol.

I suppose it's fried food that really gets me: nachos, burgers, etc. Luckily I don't feel compelled to eat sugar at all and in fact hate the taste. But toss a fattening ribeye in front of me and all bets are off.
