Trying to figure out the best cals/buck for a few foods and locally can buy bananas at .49/lb.
Obviously this includes the peel-->0 cals.
So per lb of bananas (454g) how many grams is actual edible banana?

There is no possible way to answer this question generically. It will depend on the size of the banana and the thickness of the peel. Not only that but I think it's really overanalyzing the situation.
