Hypothetically, if my maintenance was 1000 calories, and I ate 4500 calories in a day, does that mean I would gain 1lb of fat that day?

Your body weight fluctuates too much throughout the day to say, and honestly your body can handle the occasional extreme in eating. Its when you continue to eat over your maintenance day after day that you run into trouble.

No, contrary to what people say the body will not allocate every one of those calories into something, most i ever gained was half a pound from massive overfeedings (water weight aside)
There is always someone less fortunate, with real hunger, with real adversity, who made something of themselves. What is your excuse?
