Gaining weight too fast with my bulk

I started bulking for almost a week and half and i already gaining 10 pounds, i was 180 and now i am 190 in a week. I consumed around 3100 since i started and i have being hitting the gym almost everyday, i was expecting to gain 1 pound per week not 10. Should i cut down the calories? I mean it's not like i have being eating junk food everyday.

When you start bulking you always gain rapidly then it slows down to +1 to 2lbs per week just like when you change from a bulk to a cut when you reduce your calories your weight drops rapidly the first week.

    Incline Barbell Bench 235lbs x 5

How are you lifts doing? Are they increasing? I gained atleast 50 pounds on a clean bulk in 7 months, and all my lifts sky rocketed. If your that worried about the constent weight gain try eating cleaner, and less junk food. regardless good luck! You will love the bulk far more than the cut.

The mirror is your best friend ****K that scale! No in all seriousness though you're likely putting on some body fat if you've truly gained 10 lbs in that time frame.

Yes, about 10 pounds since i started, which i am happy for a week's worth workout. I'll start a way more strict clean diet.

When you go through your first week, your going to have alot more in your stomach at a time in contrast to when you are not bulking. Thus, (in the beginning) you will see a large weight gain (although this is not actually fat or muscle, just food in your digestive tract). As stated before, you will only gain a pound or two per week once you are keeping a constant amount of food in your body at a time.
