**Official Diablo III Thread**

Much like other Game threads, the thread is currently for anticipation and expectation means of the game with mature discussion.

Once Diablo 3 is released, the thread will be used to discuss the quests, settings, organize groups to level and help other players etc.

It is currently being speculated that the release date will be announced this Monday or the following as blizzard has hinted it will be soon and march has a lot in store for diablo fans. Almost all Blizzard games have been publicly announced on Monday's via press conference/meetings. We can expect the game to be in stores roughly 1-2 months after the release, so hopefully April/may!

What character do you plan on playing? I think the demon hunter looks amazing but I've always loved the slasher feel of the barbarian.

blizzard shelved pvp for now so to remain on track for their launch date. (whatever it is?) i guess the pvp balancing has been holding it back?

i want to pvp, but as long as it only takes them a few months at most to release the pvp, i'm fine with that because i'll be playing the story single player or with a few friends for the first few months anyways

yep they are to annoucne it very soon,and release in 1-2 months

ive been playing beta and they are really rushing to finalize the gameplay systems.. though some changes most people dont like.
I really hope they dont delay the pvp system patch alot... dont wanna wait a yr b4 i can pvp

Valve better be working on a new engine for HL3, if they were sticking with the original Source (which is outdated) there's no reason for them to be taking this long for HL3/Episode Three. I assume it's just HL3 now.

Diablo 3 on the other hand looks sick. Never played a Diablo game before, but I'm excited to try this one out.

What made Diablo 2 so great was the pvp.. can't believe blizzard took it out. They have this arena garbage now just like WoW.

It's only delayed so you *******s complaining about the game taking it so long can get it earlier, it'll be out in a patch a few months after release..

Building a gaming rig just for this...can't wait.

The non inclusion of pvp is fine at release...It'll take a while to gear up and figure chit out anyway.
