Hey guys, new member here. I tried the search but didn't get quite the answer I was looking for.
I'm 5'10, 22 years old today, 245 pounds. I already have quite a lot of muscle, but also far too much fat. What is the best supplement for turning fat into muscle? I plan on using free weights and my elliptical trainer that's collecting dust. I also live in Canada so I need something available here, I'm not sure what the deal is regarding supplements and what's legal between Canada and the united states.
I also have changed up my diet, no fast food, and I only drink maybe a can of soda or juice a month, also not a fan of sugar so I don't really eat much junk food.
If I missed any info you'd need please let me know. Im very new to this so any help is appreciated. Thanks guys.

you can't turn fat into muscle. You really need to do some basic research before you even think about wasting money on any sups.
Get a good diet and routine going, get some newbie gains, then when you stall out on those start researching sups.Training Journal:

Sorry I worded that completely wrong. I meant burn fat and gain muscle, I know you can't just turn fat into muscle, just completely wrong wording.
I'm guessing I should use a pre work out 'energizer' so I can do a decent work out. I'm not looking to be huge like some of you guys, just more tone and basically not a fatso.
What about just a good fat burner? I can live with how strong I am now just need to get rid of the flab.

Pulled a new guy out of red. Feelsgoodman.jpg Enjoy your new green.
What you need to do is get a solid diet going together. Look in the nutrition/lose fat section and calculate what you need to eat with the stickies at the top of those forums. Then join a site such as myfitnesspal.com (you can see their layouts in my log in my signature, simple ****) to track your nutrition. If you are really flabby then just changing your diet will help you drop a good amount of fat. In order to get the last 10-20% you'll have to work hard on an elliptical, etc. I would ignore fat burning supplements and other things like that. Get a good pre-workout to get you in the zone, keep on your nutrition and work hard in the gym. Do compound lifts with PROPER form and go swimming/elliptical, etc.
Choose something that is easy on your joints at a heavier weight.Respect Demands itself, it cannot be given, nor withheld when it is due.
