Back Story
Back in 1990 or so, my family was broke, they gave us $10,000.
Forward to last year, my aunts having hard times, she asks for 10 grand, says shell pay me back. So I send her 10 grand. Never see it back.
Now she says she needs 50,000... She said shell put up all her jewelry as collateral, as well as her daughters jewelry.
She plans to get out of debt, and owns a retail store, she said she has wholesale customers lined up, but she needs money to produce inventory.
My gut tells me she will never pay, and if I end up having to sell her jewelry I will come off as an *******. I really dont know what to do.
She said she needs 50,000, it cant be 10, or 20k. She needs 50k. FML. I hate being the nice guy.
And now if I say no, I dont even know how to tell her no.

You may feel bad if you don't do it but DO YOU REALLY HAVE 50K to send over? without hurting yourself?
For the husband who told his wife he loved her before his plane went down in a field. For the wife who stopped in the stairs to call her husband to say she will love him forever. For the mothers & fathers who kissed their kids goodbye that morning for the last time. For the policemen, firemen, & other rescue workers who rushed in to help others & lost their lives. For the soldiers who fought back & made the ultimate sacrifice. Today, tomorrow, years from now, we will remember.

That sucks man. Its a tricky spot. What I would tell anyone is never loan any friends or family money because it can never end well. It just creates sticky situations and ruins relationships. You were in a tough spot because she helped your family out previously. You have already repaid that favor. I would recommend lying and telling her you are upon difficult times yourself and can honestly not afford to loan her anymore money. Hopefully, she'll understand and be able to find other means to get a loan to jumpstart her business. Gl Op. Would hate to be in the spot your in, it is never fun.
