I know there is ample evidence attesting that 9/11 was an inside job - but I personally see it as bull****. Osama Bin Laden did orchestrate 9/11 - but I never really understood why. America said Al Qaeda hated the freedom of America. This to me seemed like the most stupid bullshiit explanation I had seen.
So what exactly caused this Saudi international that used to be chums with the USA and George Bush (senior?) to turn into a terrorist? I decided to do some research into his perspectives and what caused his hatred for the US and WHY he targeted civilians:
The following is from an anonymous:
The US government in the past has gone to war due to perceived injustice even though no Americans were the victims of the perceived injustice as in the war between Iraq and Kuwait, so is it surprising that Osama Bin Laden would want to go to "war" with the US government over perceived injustice due to the US government committing "atrocities" against fleeing Iraqi soldiers and the collateral killing of hundreds of Iraqi children ?
If "taxation without representation" results in terrorizing and disfiguring British civilians by American mobs, is it surprising that Bin Laden started a 10 year terror campaign to get US troops out of Saudi Arabia as a result of Saudi dissidents being tortured for opposing the presence of US troops in Saudi Arabia following the carnage of the gulf war in which the US government was accused of not only massacring fleeing Iraqi soldiers from Kuwait but also air strikes that collaterally killed Iraqi children and babies in the gulf war where US bombs killed 200,000 Iraqis, destroyed 20,000 Iraqi homes, leveled schools and hospitals.
This is what Bin Laden saw :
Iraqis, before the gulf war, had not killed any American intentionally and had not taken any military action against the US anywhere in the world and yet the US government decided to launch a war that collaterally killed Iraqi children and massacre fleeing Iraqi soldiers from Kuwait for the purposes of installing a hedonistic and cruel Kuwaiti dictatorship
In one US air strike : three hundred Iraqi children were killed by "smart" bombs in a Baghdad bomb shelter on February 16, 1991. The blast caused a fire so intense that it flash-burned outlines of those children and their mothers on the walls; you can still peel strips of blackened skin-from the stones.
And in 1994, religious scholars safar al-hawali and salman al-awdah were tortured by the Saudi government which escalated the conflict between Osama
bin laden and the fact that his friends were tortured due to the presence of US troops in Saudi Arabia.
(1) Osama Bin Laden read about the US government in the 50s overthrowing a democratically elected Mossadegh of Iran and eventually the Shah terrorized his own people in Iran, thanks to the military support given by the US government
(2) He read about the US government in the 60s, arming the Israeli government that used those very US weapons to collaterally kill Palestinian children and babies
(3) He saw the US government in the 70s using napalm, agent orange and carpet bombing Vietnam and Cambodia, collaterally killing hundreds of thousands or even millions.
(4) He saw the US government in the 80s siding with the "christian" militias in Lebanon, the very christian militias that massacred Muslims
(5) He saw the US government in the 80s supporting cruel dictators like Saddam Hussein - LOLWUT? IS THIS TRUE?
(6) He saw the US government in the 90s imposing cruel sanctions on Iraq resulting in UN reports stating that half a million Iraqi children died prematurely due to the sanctions
(7) He saw that the cruel Saudi dictatorship was being supported by the US government , the very dictatorship that tortured dissidents who opposed the stationing of US troops in Saudi Arabia
(8) He saw that the US government never left any country in which it had troops in ( example; US troops still present in Germany and Japan, even after the war had ended decades ago)
(9) He saw that warnings to the US government to withdraw its troops from Saudi Arabia were ignored
(10) He saw that the only way to get US troops out of Saudi Arabia was to launch a terror campaign
(11) He saw that his terror campaign against the US had failed and US troops still remained in Saudi Arabia 9 years after the gulf war had ended
(12) He saw that the only way to get the US government to withdraw its troops from Saudi Arabia was to launch an attack on the US homeland on 9/11/01
(13) He saw that the US government finally gave into his demands to withdraw troops, only after the 9/11 attacks, and US troops finally left Saudi Arabia in 2003, almost 13 years after the gulf war had ended
In Closing :
Mar 24,1991 : US General H. Norman Schwarzkopf, the American commander of Operation Desert Storm, told reporters in Saudi Arabia the United States was closer to establishing a permanent military headquarters on Arab soil.
I suspect what eventually motivated Bin Laden to launch a terror campaign against US troops stationed in Saudi Arabia was for personal reasons : one of the dissidents tortured by the Saudi dictatorship might have been a close friend of Bin Laden and that must have been the proverbial "straw that broke the camel's back" and that torture was directly related to dissidence against the presence of US troops in Saudi Arabia.
If your close friends were tortured, what would you do if the torturers were not brought to justice and you had the resources to retaliate.
Perceived injustice is what caused the LA riots in 1992.
The American mob took out their anger on British civilians by terrorizing and torturing the British civilians for the wrong doings over taxation by the British Monarch.
Its human nature to collectively punish those who have some kind of ties to the perpetrator; just as today in America, the Texas government punished the entire YFZ commune for the alleged crimes of a few individuals.
I am not justifying anything done due to human nature; I am just explaining that it happens and the only way to mitigate or prevent it from happening is to avoid or prevent the casualties in the first place.
Interesting isn't? OBL's attacks on America were horrible - it truly was an act of VICIOUS TERRORISM. But now after reading ^above - I understand that America has committed acts of war crimes and atrocities 9000x worse than 9/11 - worse yet, it had been going on for decades....
So what do you guys think? What would you have done if a nation had caused the suffering of your people for so many decades? Would you commit a terrorist act to force them to wake up and withdraw their bases from your nation?
Remember - understanding the perspectives of Osama Bin Laden does not equate to supporting his actions. You can denounce them as terrorism - but it is important to understand that OBL's one time terrorism came as a result of decades of war crimes committed by the United States of America.
These aren't justifications or excuses for terrorism - understanding is crucial in order to move on

Difference is - 9/11 was a symbolic attack on the American economy - it attacked the world trade center. America can commit war crimes/atrocities all they want for decades - but THEY ARE ALL to ensure that America remains the dominant nation - the supreme nation in the world. Why the **** would someone destroy their towers of trade/finance - when that hits a massive blow to America's supremacy?
Is America better off in 2012 then in 2000? **** NO use ur head

THe situation for Palestinians indeed was, has and will be hopeless - unless they give up their nationalistic desires, and subjugate themselves to the Jews. But in comparison - people in Iraq were slaughtered though they wanted NOTHING to do with wars. Women/children were burnt alive - they wanted nothing. All Palestinians demonstrate some form of resistance - it is totally different.
Yes support for Israel is only one factor - but it wasn't the root cause for 9/11.

Funny isn't it how American media makes so much emphasis on lack of rights in Islamist countries - yet say barely anything on the state of Saudi Arabia (which is horrible btw)

You understand one part of the puzzle but have misaligned the information to support an issue in which he never supported. Yes, he wanted to remove the US from the Middle East because they was supporting dictatorships, but not out of some benevolence. In his mind, these dictatorships were agents of the west because they are a rather secular government, free from sharia law. In fact, in his mind and radical ideology, they are not really muslims, but they rarely go that far because it would alienate a constituency in which they are trying to influence and gain their support. These people want to establish an Islamic caliphate built upon the basis of sharia law. A theoretical form of government whose notions of justice would sicken most westerns, even in light of the current dictatorships in MENA...which by the way is the only type of government has have proven effective and in most cases evolved organically in the middle east.
There are numerous errors in your original post and it is highly based on emotional arguments.
See the problem with certain people receiving a little education is they start to believe that they become some sort of expert on the issue.

What makes you believe Osama Bin Laden was behind it? The evidence supporting this theory is to me way to slim to conclude that they did it, you shouldn't ask why did x attack the US, you should ask, why would someone attack US? If you ask this question instead you will have way more answers to give and shows you that there could have been more than Osama Bin Laden behind this. Feel free to show me proof that makes it possible for me to conclude that Osama did it.*Conspiracy Crew*

Reason why they would do such a thing:
1. to start a war.
2. to take away peoples freedoms whilst saying it is for the greater good.
If you can't see that this couldn't have benefited people I feel bad for you son.
War is a massive money maker.

No American would understand the atrocious act of putting military bases in the holy lands. It's like pissing on the Pope.
But as I say - evidence of every possible side. You have Benzair Bhutto declaring OBL died at 2007 = no media spoke about this.
But I personally see USA as an evil government that does not care HOW MANY people die as long as their American interests are fulfilled.
I honestly think America did not need 9/11 to start a war with Iraq. Look at ****ing IRAN - a war is about to erupt, and IRAN HAS DONE NOTHING at all
Why would you need to blow up the world trade centers - the economic/financial heart of America to start a war? They could have taken Iraqi oil with out 9/11. I see as all of America's foreign/political actions as essential to securing America's place as #1 in the world.
From an ethical/moral perspective, the US government are the biggest trash liars who commit atrocities with out a care in the world- pure selfishness.
But yeah, I respect all opinions, I personally think the idea that an Arab committed 9/11 seems more logical than other explanations - as America slaughtered so many women and children.
