Thanks for moving it. I think you need to make a new rule that says that if you are a rep and my make a review of your own product then please post it in company promotion section. Am I wrong or does that rule exist already.

Hey I am just saying before this happens again thier needs to be something that says this is the case. This would only make less work for you and more time for you to post those lovely pics that you post of Next Door Nikki!

That is fine in the regular review section, BJ's review the way it was structured sounds like an ad.

A review is a review and I think they all should be but into the review forum no matter who they are buy rep or non rep. To many rules make for confusion. We have a review forum lets put the reviews in that forum /thread

Members can look at the situation and draw their own conclusions, this is a grey area.

But when a rep for the same company that he/she works for, reviews a product this is not grey but almost black.

You are, but what I'm saying is what if the product being reviewed directly competes with a product you carry? If you give it a bad review, are people really supposed to take that seriously, knowing the bias you may have?

That may happen, but I tend to think most people are very honest. After numerous reviews of any product people will have a good idea if the product is worth buying or not.

Since all reps are idenified by the new rules you put in place it should be easy to see if they have any biased. If a memeber takes that review seriously then that is thier fault and not the reps fault that made the review.
