If you are ever in doubt, stick with the half your age plus 7 rule. (24/2 = 12. 12+7 = 19)

I don't really see what the issue would be... eighteen is legal. Are her parents going to be thrilled? that depends on the girl, the parents, and the guy. MOST 18 year olds will be waaaaay behind 24 year olds as far as maturity. Not to mention RELATIONSHIP experience but really if the girl is mature/cool and the guy is cool/respectful I can't imagine anyone getting too upset about this.
