Background story
I've known, and been dating this girl for 1-1/2 years now. Her little brother is the nicest person I’ve ever met. This guy is so peaceful and I’ve grown to respect him a lot, even though I’m older than him. He’s a future genius, and I can honestly say that he’s one of the smartest persons I’ve ever met. Now on the down side his clothing style is unique, and French (I think this is cool, but of course he’ll get bullied for it). He has experience with getting bullied, and is very sensitive (keep in mind that he’s only 14 years old).
What happened?
He was on his way to the store to purchase himself some food for school. On the way to the store he saw 5 cheecky c*nts standing there. These are the “ghetto-first world problems thinking they’re living the life of a child murderer in Thailand”. At first they just stared at him, and he just ignored them, but after some seconds they started to follow him, and throw insults at him. “hey ******* nice clothes, hahahahaha”, “you the new michael jackson with your hat? HAHAHAHHA” “we love cocks, and we think we’re funny” remarks. Anywho, he kept on ignoring them and just minded his own business. They obviously got pissed off because he didn’t respond and ended up following him to outside his school. There they told him to listen, and wait, in which he kept on ignoring and kept walking to the school. One of the kids then slapped him on his neck, and in defense he threw a snowball on this fella’s face. Now of course this cheecky c*nt has to show his friends that he can’t get disrespected so he decides to knock out a 14 years old child. I found out that he injuried his nose, and started bleeding from it, and well let’s fast forward to today.
Today
It’s been two days since the event. I’ve found out about this now, and I’m raging. Through a friend I’ve gotten this c*nts number, and I know that he’s 5’7 135 lbs, while I am almost 6’2, and close to 180 lbs. I’m going to call him now, but my girlfriend is afraid they’ll come after me so she’s begging me not to call. Thankfully I’m at home now, and she won’t need to find out about this, and I personally want to serve this c*nts ass. (No, I’m no e-badass, and the last time I fought was in 7th grade. I do, however have training in BJJ, Grappling, and Thai Boxing so I’m fairly confident in my ability to eat this c*nt and learn him a lesson).
Police
Girlfriends mother has tried to make a police case out of this for two days now, but she’s sent home and asked to come back another day because of them being busy at the station. I don’t think that the police will do anything for such a small matter anyway, but my question is: Can I get my a$$ handed to me by the police, and if yes, how can I avoid it? Misc lawyers, please help me out.

Read the whole thing and I support what you are doing, OP. You're right, the police will not do shiit about a kid getting struck by a group of ghetto cunnts; they have worse sh!t to deal with. Ensure that if it is recorded, you are not the first to strike, as you said (odds are it will be your word over his in court if there is no evidence of you striking him first, or using provocation. You sound like a respectable bloke whereas he is ghetto scum).
