but for serious it's not an attack to be honest and a good debate never hurt anybody even if some folks take it (too) personal. Then again I argue with people for a living (when I'm not running around after ambulances) so maybe it's just my personality type.
Heh, like I was telling Dtaps, I think I had this "all my squats are good" mentality because I've never gotten a red light in competition. But I have clearly been squatting high lately and will bomb out at nationals if I don't fix it. But don't worry, I'll do what's necessary to get it right. Still have a month to prepare.
That's the problem; the judges have screwed powerlifting and powerlifters really. You could even argue federations themselves that keep bringing back those judges are just as to blame.

And the only comments I got about my squats were arguments about mirrors and looking up. Maybe if I say controversial things or get strong people will talk to me. foreveralone.

What is all this talk about "exactly" parallel and "exactly" depth?
There is no such as exactly parallel or depth.
depth is an infinitely small amount below parallel. Nobody in the history of time has squatted to exactly parallel, ev ery single squat has either been above or below parallel, just your eyes aren't refined enough to see it.
1.616199 × 10^-35 meters below parallel is depth.

I think it's healthy for people to actively discuss depth, if there were no arguments like this, powerlifting would spiral into chit

Your squats are high. 144 pounds? You are a skinny little prick. Why are you so skinny? Single ply? What are you, some kind of f*cking cheater? Jesus Christ, give up powerlifting and take up modeling for abercrombie & b*tch.
there are your criticisms for the day, happy?

Not at all. Just sick of this "GOOD JOB MAN" mentality on here. As soon as you give an honest opinion on something you get bashed even if you are right.

Personally, I think it was a damn good job coming off his back injury.

I mean, I don't blame the judges and I'm positive I squatted to depth in competition. I believe I've only been cutting it high recently. I mean, my squatting style was completely different back then.

Saying controversial things will definitely do the trick, but you'll negged.

Yeah, like we talked about, with a new style and some extra weight now is definitely the time to dial in your depth, I think it's clear that your new style is a (much) better fit for you, just gotta make sure you get there for sure fo sho

Yea, I just rewatched my video from last month of 380x5x5 and they were all high. I did 375x5x4 yesterday and its very likely those were high as well. So I think next week I will try 380x5x3, go lower, and video it to compare it to last month's squats. Thanks again for bringing it to my attention.
EDIT:
Random question, I've been reading about cover letters and sites say to always address it to a specific person. I'm filling out a profile for a company's site so I can apply to a specific job and possibly other positions in the future and they want me to upload a cover letter. Would it look bad if I just write "to whom it may concern". The job description doesn't mention anyone's name.

Please try not to grunt during your squats. It'll disturb the funeral they're busy holding in that big library antechamber you're in.
