i've never squatted with a belt before, is it something i would have to learn how to use/get used to for a few weeks before i can expect to gain anything to my total? or can i expect to hit a pr right away?

I have a inzer lever and its brand new, wearing it around the house and doing some bodyweight squats and it feels strange. i cant even get into a deadlift position in it. Thanks for the responses guys.
edit: also how much extra poundage did u guys gain the first time u maxed in a belt?500+

Between my sets I would roll it 1 way as hard as I could then rolled it the other way as hard as I could. That and squatting in it helped break it in for me. As for as poundage, it is hard to tell. Especially since I got it when my squat was in the upper 200s and shooting up. I wouldn't worry about how much you are going to get out of a belt. Just use it during your workouts and get use to it and then max out whenever it is time. It's like saying how much extra poundage do you get out of wearing proper shoes, who da fawk knows.

I was at work one day standing outside watching a storm when all the sudden it sounded like 10 billion golf balls fell out of the sky. in like five minuts it hailed so much that it was sitting on the ground 1/2 to 1 foot thick. some of the hail really was golf ball sized. craziest thing i've ever seen. had pics on old phone.

First deadlift attempt. Still pulled twice more like a boss.
lol no. This just happened today in Bay St. Louis. He was at the Tally meet in October though.
Vid from meet is in my log, bitches.
Oh, and I got to see Chris Tran in action. It's crazy how strong he is. He got the third highest squat, somewhere between 500 and 550, maybe more, and he's a 132. I think a 300+ bench and I'm pretty sure a 500+ deadlift.Meet: 440/248/485 = 1173@144 sp

This. The movie was crappy and was more about a love story than survival. Watching that movie was like watching a retarded version of SERE school. Seriously, when people are hunting you down in the woods, do you run around crying and screaming like a little bitch 24/7? Or when you have an easy shot at your most dangerous opponent with a bow and arrow, do you take it or do you run away like a little bitch? Are you really going to take your time to set up a memorial for your dead friend after you made a bunch of noise, or are you going to get the **** out of that area asap? I was pissed that entire ****ing movie because that dumb bitch did stupid **** non-stop and she still won.
