Had a great meet and got a pr deadlift at 535lbs. But my lockout seems to be lacking strength, seeing as how I moved the weight so quickly off the floor. Would you fellas just advise heavy rack pulls to strengthen it? I don't have access to bands or chains or anything.

Heavy lockouts, starting about 2-3" below where you stick, usually. Also, hit rows real hard, including DB Rows(kroc rows, too).

also detkimble is right. Keep those legs in it as long as you can. If your legs are straight early on, you're not gonna be able to drive your hips through, or use your glutes, leaving all the work to be done by your back.
I can't tell from this angle, but does the bar stay in contact with your body the whole way up? If not, you need to change that. If the bar is getting out in front of you, that's going to fold you over more and, again, leave the work to your back...

You also gotta learn to get your hips through at the top. Really focus on squeezing your glutes instead of all low back.

Started the base meso of Smolov today ... not bad, but the next 2 weeks are going to suck (when the weight goes up).

What do you mean by that? I thought Cena had a better in-ring performance tonight. I wasn't a big fan of the the Rock in the run-up to the match, either. Just kind of ****ty for a guy who works as hard as John Cena to lose the most important match of his career to appease the ego of a sellout.
