It's light weights just to warm the muscles and work out any soreness. Sort of stole it from Wendler's full body 531 and from Coan's bench.
Are you familiar with RPE? 10 = no reps left, 9 = 1 left in tank, 8 = 2-3 reps, etc.
This is just a sample of 1 week that I came up with. If I expanded this, the intensities would change and there would be a deload week. I'm also trying to somewhat simulate a meet with the order of exercises on most days.
BTW, not running this program I pulled out of my butt any time soon (running Sheiko May-July)

Apparently all of those things are explained in the book
The movie neglected to build the relationship between Rue and Katniss.
In the books, you understand from Katniss that Rue reminds her of her
sister Prim. The memorial was a true moment for Katniss-- a sense of
rebellion against the Capitol. The movie neglected to show you that
after a tribute dies and a cannon sounds, a hovercraft is flown in to
recover the body. The hovercraft will not take the body until you are
gone--Katniss knows this so she quickly makes a memorial. In the
book, Katniss explains that she wants to make it look like Rue is
sleeping in a meadow- hence the flowers. Rue was very special to
Katniss, and the movie didn't do a great jobs with building the
relationship. When a cannon sounds, making it known that a tribute
has died, no one will run to it because they know someone is there and
that a hovercraft is coming in to take the body.
If you read the book, it is about survival for Katniss. She realizes
that in order to get Peeta the medicine and for her to survive the
games, she's supposed to "act" like she loves him. It's for the cameras
and the sponsors to feel sorry for Katniss and Peeta. The movie missed
out on letting the viewers know that Katniss was originally acting to
keep her and Peeta alive--and in the book, when her and Peeta arrive
home and he asks "What's next" she tells actually tells Peeta it was
basically all an act (thinking it was all an act for him too), but in
reality leaving Peeta heartbroken because he really was in love with
her-- although later in the series, it becomes something real. That is
why Haymitch tells Katniss she needs to convince people that she is
really in love with Peeta.
In the end, read the book- it does a better job at getting the message
to the viewer than the movie.
So in conclusion: She was only a loud staying in place moron at times where the book explained she would not be in danger and the love story was just a ruse to win

being a puss and abandoning sheiko at week 3, its going real well for bench and deads but i cant keep up with the squats, not sure I have the conditioning for it or did something else wrong
edit: just changed my mind, i could either stop it now and start something again or have my squat stay the same for a couple weeks but make decent gains on bench and deadliftLast edited by NeverLifted; 04-01-2012 at 08:10 AM.

getting beat up, feel battered early on in the squat block, and I mean im not used to sets over 3 reps so 5x5 to me is awful
thanks brah im gonna keep doing that, and maybe drop the intensity slightly if i have to make sure i get the volume in atleast
i think partly the reason squatting feels a little strange is cos i based the program off numbers in the gym and my bar weight can be up to 5kg off face value. once I max with my own equipment and use those as the training maxes i think everything will fall into place a little betterPowerlifting Log http://forum.bodybuilding.com/showthread.php?t=134608051&page=4

Oh ok. I know the RPE. I kinda know what you were attempting to do, I sometimes during the day when not lifting plug in some weights on a spreadsheet and look at E1RMS and other such stuff. Would be good if the Excel geeks on the forum could come up with some spreadsheets where you can plug in your workouts and view random stuff.

I woke up with some serious pain in my left hamstring where the medial hamstring tendons tigh in to the calf. I have no idea why it hurts and did nothing to it yesterday as far as I know. No squatting for me today.

She also acquired a spear (the one that killed the little girl) and threw it away for no good reason. Also, she made no effort to camouflage any of her brightly colored items. And I think there were less than 5 ppl in that group, especially since the watchman got his neck snapped.
Looks awesome!Celer, Silens, Mortalis - - - - - Meet Lifts: 584/385/600 @ 229 - - - - - Gym Lifts: 600/405/605

It's a movie, and it's not made to be an extraordinary survival one at that.
Terrible bowling today. I didn't want to try spinning because it was really crowded. I did 110, 99, 116, and 114. Sucks.I don't care.

I'd think about it if I had unlimited time to train (as in, I could pause time for 3 weeks). Girlfriend ranted on about that post too but not gonna relay it. She agrees that the movie didn't illustrate her survival skills as well as the book
LOTR was aimed at adults not twilight fans, also, tons of people hhhhhaaaaaattttteeeeddddd LOTR when compared to the books
Katniss. I read the first 2 chapters of the 1st book to fall asleep, its written for 12-15 year olds.771/645/622 Single Ply

Lettuce be reality - The book is always going to be better than the movie.
