I just need to get a midnight bowling theme going. A few black lights and some disco lighting I'd be all set. Think I could build up a midnight training crew?

I recently added a couple of bullet points to my POF profile:
-Duck face pictures make me want to punch babies.

so, here's a dear diary for you. when i lost my job in january, I moved in with my g/f and we can't have dogs there so I had to send my dog to my parents (8 hours away). I've been missing her so bad lately, I had a little cry on Saturday night when I was a bit drunk.

That's exactly what my dog has. I thought it was hives and gave him Benadryl and it wasn't working. Took him to the vet and they said it was like pimple at each bump and puss came out when they squeezed it. Said its some kind of allergic reaction to the food he eats or pollen or something else from the environment. Gotta give him pills for 3 weeks, it cost $72 just for those.

Yep, very easy to make. You can use lumber, tires, rails, wheelbarrow, a sled (imagine that), or buy one.
Here's mine

Then just throw what ever you want in there. Kids love being dragged around too.
As for the lawn mower, throw on some sand bags will make it harder. Sand bags themselves are cheap and are great for GPP. Pick one up and throw it. Walk over and repeat. My Training Journal: http://tinyurl.com/jasons-journal

^^Thats a cool idea for a sled right there.
I used concrete, a used tire, a couple bolts/washers, and 10 feet of chain for mine.

Another idea is to use kegs. I got two from a local Italian Pie for a good price. I posted an ad on Craigslist and I got a few hits, but this was by far the best deal - I actually could've sold the metal keg for scrap metal and kept the rubber keg and would have made money and gotten a keg for free.
Depending on the type of keg and what tools you have available, it could take five minutes or it could take hours to pry out the o-ring which will allow you to add/remove water/sand/pebbles/whatever to adjust the weight. There's some kind of screw on plug (can't remember the name of it right now) that I got at ACE to keep everything inside the keg so I can throw it around.
I originally wanted (and still plan on getting) a sandbag, but since I was never able to make it to the army surplus on time I just settled for the kegs.Meet: 440/248/485 = 1173@144 sp

I use to drag my heavy punching bag around my backyard. Just bought some rope and put it through one of the loops and I was good to go. Could do some sprints and eccentric-less training though it wasn't very heavy. More of recovery type work.

Yep. It gets pricey. My mom has a chihuahua with food allergies, and he has to have special food as well.
But obviously, it's your pet so you gotta do it.
I dont think it's the food for my dog, unless it has a delayed onset. Because he's eaten Purina since I got him, and just now having these spots pop up. Could be wrong though.

One thing I learned from that time several years ago when they had to recall most of the dog and cat food out there: dry food manufacturers change their ingredients and suppliers all the time. Ingredient (or proportion) changes can usually be spotted by paying careful attention to the label, but supplier changes can't. The filler they use in dry food is one of those cost-margin items they are always looking to get at rock-bottom prices, so they switch vendors a lot, which is how they wound up putting stuff with melamine in the food a few years back.
So, you might be feeding him nothing but Purina, but the Purina that's in the bag now may not be the Purina that was in the bag last year, or last month.
That whole fiasco was what originally led me to find good, relatively cheap raw food (which, for cats, is essentially certain kinds of meats). Primal Pet Foods is sold in the freezer section at Whole Foods.

Dont wanna sound like a know it all but I am a dog man and yes what takeit is sayin is very true. Dog food manufacturers change ingredients all the damn time. Its very common and it dont matter which company you use. Also, many of the "higher end" dog foods are absolute junk and are total bull**** products that are pushed by vets and such that wouldnt know sheep **** from apple sauce when it comes to "proper" nutrition for a dog. One perfect example is science diet. You'd have to look far and wide to find a worse dog food for a ridiculously high price.

My dogs only eat human food now. One of my dogs came within an hour of death because he starved himself when offered only dog food.
I don't care.
