I got up half way and couldnt go up any farther so I just went back down and set it on the rack.

I normally use a 45 lb plate for 10 but I've used a 45 and 25 for 10 before.

anyone got any good idea for making blocks to pull off of?

i was thinkin 4x6 pieces, and then two thin pieces underneath to change the height in like 1 in increments

I used little chunks/strips of foam interlocking mats. However, if you don't have access to those, you could probably use anything. You could probably just throw some little chunks of wood in there.

I also duck taped two other 1.5" thick phone books to put underneath in case I wanted my blocks to be higher.
