There is nothing wrong with disagreeing with the placings, but comments like these are just plain disrespectful and I would think the same if you said that about Phil heath, Dexter Jackson, etc. They all work their asses off and sure critiquing them is part of the sport, But surly there is a more respectful way to do so, I'm sure you can agree with that.Originally Posted by DPNZ

Don't be like the sheep, if you wanna point out Branch's flaws try not to be so negative, i'm sure you go haywire when people say Heath looks like crap as well. There's not alot with that opinion but i heard it before as well about him.

So what if Branch did lurk here and did see this thread? Does that mean people should censor their opinions bc the person (who's job it is to get on a stage and be judged for their physique) might see people's reaction to the package they brought to a show? Of course Branch's back ****s on yours, mine, and the other people commenting on this thread, no one is saying he doesnt work hard, is a bad guy, or other demeaning personal insults. They're just giving an opinion on one of Branch's bodyparts, and that opinion happens to be that there's no way around the fact that, compared to Wolf and Evan's, it looked like ****. For a professional bodybuilder competing in, and winning, what is supposed to be the 2nd most prestigious contest in the IFBB, it looked like ****. It's just semantics you're stressing about. "it looked horrible", "it looked awful", "it looked like ****"...they convey the same message, the last one just conveys it better than the first two. The problem here is in fact NOT BRANCH but the system AKA Muscletech judging criteria.
I noticed how pissed off both Evan and Wolf looked.
I think I am starting to get bored of bodybuilding. Its all fixed.
I doubt branch gives a **** about whats written about him when he is holding a 130K cheque plus enough protien powder to last him until the 2012 Olympia. Branch is a businessman outside bodybuilding and knows exactly what is going on, he knows he placed outside the top six but held the Muscletech trump card and was technically unbeatable that day.
The sport can never gain credability this way but the big shots at the top of the industry must have calculated they all make the most money with Branch winning - sadly its that simple.

I think we're all getting caught up with the whole 'physique' image.
Branch didnt necessarily get gifted, needless to say, it was still close.
Lets not forget:
- Symmetry has never been a big point of criteria for judges.
- Competitors are judged on body parts independantly.
- Just because a physique doesnt have flow, doesnt mean that bodybuilder X 'relatively' isnt the most muscular in each INDIVIDUAL pose.
