How much Coconut oil per day?

I picked up a jar of Nutiva coconut oil, but can't find any dosing scheme for general daily supplementation. I have searched on here as well, but can't find anything. Any recommendations?

In general, fat intake should be in the range of 0.45 to 1.0 grams per pound of body weight.

Figure out how much you are getting from food sources or any other supps, and then you will know how much you can use of your coconut oil.

"There is no recommended daily allowance (RDA) for lauric acid, but as a guideline, Dr. Mary G. Enig suggests adults and growing children can benefit from an intake of 10 to 20 grams of lauric acid per day. It's interesting to note that nursing babies consume up to 1 gram of lauric acid per kilogram of body weight per day." There are 7g of lauric acid in a tablespoon of coconut oil.

If it's the MCTs you're after for energy, I'd say the more the better. I always use it in my morning coffee or a spoonful pre-workout.

I personally get about 2 tbsp/most days. Make sure to figure it into your macros.

I like to eat 40% lean meats, 30-40% healthy fats, and 20-30% sprouted or soaked carbs. Coconut oil in my opinion you can eat a lot more than you think. It's really good for you.

I use 2 tbsp a day. I use it for cooking eggs, sauteing veggies or adding in oatmeal. I used a tbsp today to pan fire some chicken mixed with sriracha and it tasted amazing!

You use coconut oil in your coffee? Just dump it in and stir?

Intersting. I have used coconut cream concentrate before and that is actually pretty good.
