went to Project X yesterday and was wondering.
Do these kind of parties actually exist ?
Ofcourse it is a movie and it exaggerated.
But to a certain extend has anybody ever been to
a sick house party like this one?
Are all the American Pie parties made up.
Or are they true to some extend ?
I live in Holland and have been to some cool parties,
but nothing even close to American pie/Project X.
I have been to way bigger parties, but not to this kind off
house parties. The atmosphere seems so chill.

My friends and I moved into a pretty sweet house in a similar neighborhood back in college and decided to have a "houseapalooza" party for some friends. Handed out a few invites and someone made copies of it and passed them around without us knowing. We awarded all the neighbors, just like in the movie, except for one down the street. Turns out, probably 200 people showed up, **** got rowdy and the one neighbor we didn't talk to called the cops. They showed up, people scattered but they still ends up writing over 65 minor in consumption tickets that night, got away with three boxes of toking paraphernalia an had to call official TABC agents. It was a pretty good time. Woke up the next day to find a few people who had hidden from the cops still passed out in our laundry room.
Inb4 cool story bro.
Edit: forgot the best part. The TABC official they called in to conduct the sobriety tests used the horizontal gaze nystagmus test, also known as the pen test. Well, this guy happened to be completely cross eyed. Like, the kind where you didn't know which eye to look at. One of my friends was taking the test and everytime he got back to the middle and would see his eyes would bust out laughing uncontrollably. After 3 or 4 times he finally told him, "**** it, I'm drunk sir but I'm 21. Can I please just go?" He let him drive home.

Yes in the USA they have those houseparties but it's because in the USA you have to be 21+ to go to clubs/bars so all underage kids go to these house parties.
Brb holland 16+ for bars, 18+ for real clubs.ส็็็็็็็็็็็็็็็็็็็( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)_ส้้้้้้้้้้้้้้้้้้

In the end of the movie they kind of replicated the above scene as a tribute.
@Shorner, sounds sick
Yeah although i've been going to clubs from 16. Those house
parties look way cooler. Better atmosphere, more random **** to do
, easier to hook up. It looks alot more like "everybody is friends" than
in clubs where there is more a "everybody on their own and don't **** with me" vibe.
Before I die I want to be at an epic house party like Project X.
Guess i'll have to move to America hahaa
