    Parabody hip sled replacement rollers

Finally moved into a house where I could get my hip sled out of storage and start using it again. Unfortunately when using it there's a sound coming from one of the 3" rollers on the carriage. I've searched online for Parabody replacement parts and found fitnessrepairparts.com and another site that looks the same. Neither has any parts for the hip sled.

Wondering if any forum members who have any hip sleds needed to replace any of their rollers and where did they go to get them? TIA.

Maybe the roller needs some lubrication?

I'll give that a try. Picked up some super lube for the other equipment and hadn't thought of that.

    Try these guys:
    http://www.mcmaster.com/#

Those rollers are likely to be some standard size rather than something specific to Parabody. If the above source doesn't have them, there are dozens of other industrial suppliers on the 'webz. Somebody will have them; you'll just have to be persistent in your search. Inspect the old roller carefully; there may be a part # or manufacturer's name on it that will help you find a replacement.

ironwill2008, I was thinking they were standard rollers also. I thought maybe other hip sleds may have the same rollers on their carriage, like Yukon. Started searching to see if I could find other assembly manuals on different company's hip sleds to see if their rollers were interchangeable with the Parabody one. No luck yet, hoping your link will change my luck. Thanks for the info.

Wow! $125 is an awesome find. Once I had everything apart I found the roller in question was bone dry. All others had some lube on it. What I did was cleaned all the bearing and applied a good bit of SUPER LUBE grease and it took care of the problem. I'm willing to bet that ironwill2008's suggestion and link is who you would want to get the rollers and bearings from.

I'm surprised it didn't have sealed bearings.

Kamway is a good place to check for rollers.
