Not sure if I love them yet. Its a different feel, which I guess counts as training variety. They do make everything feel heavier.

A delicious flavor experience for all ages.
Glad to be a part of your log!
And sorry, it seemed necessary to shill Quest bars.
I don't recall seeing your review - can't believe that. Agree with your sentiment on Chocolate Brownie; IMHO, mediocre out of the wrapper, great when warmed up in the microwave for ten seconds. Totally changes the texture and even (slightly) the flavor of the bar.
Nice work - I love getting good form work in with the deadlift.
I'm always tweaking something to give me the most leverage and pulling ability from the floor, while also insuring the stability and safety of the lift.
Deadlifts are definitely my favorite exercise, bar none.NOV || Ohio Chapter || Be more, have less.

You're a rep! Ain't nothing wrong with pimping a bit in the right place.
Deadlifts just rock. I like to work that many muscles in one fairly simple move, and its just a rush to move that much weight (says the man who is content to rep much less than his bodyweight, lol)."Evidently Mr. Ringo's an educated man. Now I really hate him."

I started doing trap bar dead lifts while standing on 2 45 plates. The second part is more because of my height so I can hit 90 degrees lol. I do enjoy the trap bar though. I feel like it takes a lot of the annoying shin/knee focus out of it for me. then again it could be the height thing again there

Because I'm often pressed for time, I definitely think heavy compound movements get me the most bang for my buck in the gym - and it's hard to beat deadlifts.
But bro..
Hex bars are for girls.
[QUOTE=SoftballNerd;846466483] Also, I see I'm not the only shill up in here.

I take the weekend off posting, and you guys are in full force!
Last day of work today. So tired. I went to an amateur BB show Saturday night after work. Got 5 hours of sleep and walked into the worst day so far at this job (Sunday). 13 hour day with no lunchbreak. Yay.
GF had a beer and a t-bone steak waiting for me when I got home. That part was awesome.
Big dose of MP Bullet Proof before bed and I slept great. BTW- awesome sleep aid. Was my favorite a few years ago and I think, still is.
(Sorry Tim) 3 different stimms this morning for breakfast and I'm starting to feel 'right'. I foresee another shyt day at work, a nap this evening, and brutal crushing session of heavy chest work tonight.
So happy to be starting my weekend tmrw."Evidently Mr. Ringo's an educated man. Now I really hate him."

Monday, chest and cardio
So the goal today was heavy chest, and back. I made half of that, lol.
Dosed on XFA and Allmax Razor 8 Blast.
Hit the gym, did my RC moves, and started flat BB bench. Warm up sets with 135, 185, 235.
Got 275 for 3, not too hard. Got 3 with 295 but man! Last rep was haaard. Too much. Gave me an instant headache, felt a little pukey. Shook it off, stripped the bar to 135. Intending to do a 'burn out' set of maybe a dozen, I repped out 29.
But it killed me. Took about 5 minutes to feel right.
Off to incline BB bench. Couple sets with 185, 2 sets of a few reps with 225.
And that was it. I was just done. I put out too much on that set of 29 (duh) and had nothing left.
I crawled over to the treadmill and walked 25 minutes at a casual 3MPH. So at least it wasn't a wasted night."Evidently Mr. Ringo's an educated man. Now I really hate him."
