what caused my upset stomach after working out?

woke up this morning took my preworkout (2 scoops of white flood) on an empty stomach and began to workout. My workout was short today because I was just working core. So I did finish my workout earlier than usual..well after my workout i took some creatine..then i went to go eat my oatmeal and took a couple of bites of it and for some reason i just couldnt eat it. I had a slight naseua like feeling. Kind of light headed and just a weird feeling in my stomach. Today was my first time taking creatine. I took 1 scoop (5 grams) with water. Was it because I still had caffeine in my body while i was eating and drinking the creatine? Im just confused as to why this happened. I think it was the caffeine and combination of creatine...but i heard that it is safe to take together? Can somebody help me out. I am using Creature creatine.

You worked out your core (stomach) and you ate after a workout. Seems as though you have your answer right there

Do you really think that caused it?

I think you want to believe that a supplement caused it, you're in the placebo area here. I can't ever eat right after a workout, especially if i do legs or abs. My stomach is ALWAYS angry at me. Could be a caffeine issue though, that could cause discomfort. I'm going with what i said though, high intensity workout typically does not work with food right after.

Well, creatine can be taken at any time during the day really. There may be some mental pseudo effects from taking it before your workout, i.e. you get yourself more amped up to workout knowing you just took a supplement. When in reality it's doing nothing. Creatine works off saturation, not timing.

I love white flood, Iv been using it for about a week and have had no side effects. Love the stuff. For the creatine isnt there a certain time you need to get it absorbed into your muscles or is that just bro science? Its just what i have heard

Like i said, creatine works off of saturation. It used to be that people dosed post workout to restore their stores, but that's not going to really do much. Does that translate in to better recovery? Probably not. Take 3-5g daily, whenever, and you'll be good to go.
