Smile Do you cut down carbs?

How many of you guys cut down carbs while cutting down? I usually stop eating my carbs after my workout. So I have it for breakfast, lunch, and later in the day. After my workout I usually cut it out. I heard more people say the Caloric Defecit is way more effective than carb cycling so thats why I asked.

I cycle daily. Higher carb/calorie on w/o days and low carb/calorie on rest days.

Cutting carbs is not necessary, but if you seriously want to cut then get your carb intake down to under 50 a day. You will see results. But there are also some side effects, such as loss of energy.

So you just have to figure out what works for you, and how drastic you want your cut to be.
    As of 2/28/12

cutting carbs loses weight just cause if you cut out lets say 100g of carbs, thats 400kcals. Just like low fat diets drop weight because you aren't eating 9kcal/g at 80g/day, know what i mean?

I currently eat around 400g of carbs a day(almost all from fruits and vegetables) and have been fine. As long as im a little under my maintenance or a little over im fine

I always keep carbs in my diet, helps with energy levels. If im losing weight, i just lower my portions, if im gaining i up my portions.

Back when i cut carbs completely out, i felt so drained all day, couldnt even get a good workout in.
I squat in the curl rack, Umad?
