I wear my Beats by dre studio (the really big canister ones) to the gym.
Used to have the in-ear buds of different brands, but I grew tired of two things:
1 - The in-ear bud would pop out of my ear mid-lift... throws me off like vertigo.
2 - Having to clean them at the end of my workout (wax / sweat buildup... groce!)
My only complaint with the beats headphones, is that it "sweats" my ears like its in a sauna... but its no big deal as I take them off for a minute during rest period between lifts.
This. I've had the Solos, Studios, Tours and now the wireless ones. My favorite for the gym has been the Solos because of noise cancellation. But I go for the wireless ones now because I don't have to carry my phone with me when lifting. Today I forgot them at home so had to use the Tours. In ear suck for lifting. They fall out, they have no bass and you can still hear everything around you. I'll take the ear muffs any day.
