EDIT: It's a 1,355 total, not 1,345.
I posted this is the teen section but I would like feedback/criticism from more serious guys tbh. This was my 3rd competition (I have yet to do a sanctioned meet, only competitions on campus here at KU). This was a 110 lb increase from my competition less than 4 months ago. I have been training for a little over 2 and a half years now. Nothing before that except for your typical session of a college kid going to the gym to jog, bench, and curl lol.
Meet Results from Last Saturday!
Bodyweight = 203
Squat (all attempts were good)
1st: 365
2nd: 405
3rd: 435 all-time PR 25 lbs, 50 lb PR from last meet
Bench
1st: 315 good
2nd: 335 good and easy 5 lb PR from last meet, but too easy
3rd: 365 miss, should have done 355
Deadlift (all attempts were good)
1st: 495
2nd: 545
3rd: 585 all-time PR 20 lbs, 55 lbs from last meet
Total = 1,355 which is a 110 lb increase from my meet last October 29th (less than 4 months ago)
NOTES: I got first out of everyone there, so that was nice! I planned my attempt to PR on 2nd attempts and pick the 3rd depending on how I felt. Unracking 435 it felt like a ton but I knew after I set up I had a good chance on hitting it. 335 was easy on bench and I panned to do 355 but everyone talked me into 365. If it were a sanctioned meet I would have been smarted and gone for 355 but this competition was just for fun so I went for it. It felt great once I had it in my hands but I just wasn't tight enough, may have lowered it a bit too low on my chest and couldn't finish it. I was pretty dead by the time we got to deadlift (lol) and didn't know what would happen. Also, there was a BBer there competing that I was talking to during warmups. I chatted too long and got the 2 minutes warning that we were starting and I hadn't even pulled 405 yet. So I pulled it, loaded 455, pulled it, and basically had to go for 494 right after lol. All in all, I'm more than pleased with my results . . . . but not satisfied

Nice lifts. If there's one thing I can definitely comment on, it's the fact that you REALLY need to focus on keeping your belly up and your arch tight when you bench. You're literally losing a third of your arch once the bar is unracked. I mean, you have an absolutely FANTASTIC arch in the beginning of your set up, if you can keep that throughout the lift you'll be golden.
Deadlifts looked great, you seem to be built to pull.
Squats ended up turning into a semi GM, but nice none the less.
Great job overall, brotha. Compete in some sanctioned meets, you'll do great.

Thanks, guys! I would love to do a real sanctioned meet in the future. There really isn't much action in Kansas, though. The only thing I can see right now is a push, pull, curl meet (lol no thanks) at the end of March. I guess I could go to that and go for my 365 bench and 600 deadlift, but I would much rather do a full meet.
Yeah I noticed that I lose a lot of my arch when I unrack the bar. Also, my chest caving is something I've been trying to work on for a whie on squats now. Easier said than done for me lol.
Thank you for the advice! My training log:
