Thanks brotha, yeah I'm definitely stronger with pulls than pushes. And stronger horizontally than vertically. Lots to work on! Tons and tons and tons
Try it, i'll fukking wreck u m8
Nah really! Haha I was exhausted today. Moving heavy **** with my brother all day from his in-laws to his garage for storage.
So shall it be written.
Thanks brotha! Wearing it right now lol, ****ing love this thing. Also wearing some new Sperrys and some somewhat preppy for lack of a better word shorts my brother gave me. It's time I stepped up my clothing game (srs no homo).
Tired as hell, cals around 4k today. Made an awesome baked dish tonight with a ****load of fresh peppers, onions, and tomatoes, and the left over grilled chicken breast from KFC lol. Mixed in with fat free feta, marinara, some parmesan on top. Pretty bomb. Also went out for breakfast with the brother, will throw some pics up soon, **** was bomb.
Getting some good sleep for a change and crushing a push day tomorrow. Sleep tight my sweet princes(ses)Boston - UMass - Sales brah

That shirt is sick though. I'd be reluctant to wear it due to the BTK Killer lol
"He is known as the BTK killer (or the BTK strangler). "BTK" stands for "Bind, Torture, Kill," which was his infamous signature. He sent letters describing the details of the killings to police and to local news outlets during the period of time in which the murders took place." - from wikipedia lelI fall off the lifting wagon all the time but I'm still here lol

Hahahaha^
Will log workout in a bit, gotta eat quick and head to work. Bench was meh, accessory work was really solid. Core feels like someone was beating me with baseball bats all day yesterday, idk what's up with that. I unintentionally had way too much fiber yesterday and I also did a pretty high volume (for me that is, i don't do direct core work often) core giant set thing 2 days ago so I guess it's a combo of DOMS and an upset stomach... Felt really really really sore today though. Oh well. Will update soon.
On a second note, my bench may have been lackluster, but legit everyone was mirin today, so that feltgoodman. 189 this morning had a higher cal day yesterday and didnt lift so that's expected, also sodium intake was way too high past 2 days. Expecting a return to 187s or maybe even new lows in 2-4 days.Boston - UMass - Sales brah

Passed that bish. Woo wooo. Now to job hunt =p Still haven't decided if I want to do it part time and get some sort of desk job or try and go full on with it... will depend on what's out there.
Deadlifts in an hour. Gonna go to Bay State and do em there because I feel like having a strong session today, even if I have to pay a day fee it's worth it, lol.Boston - UMass - Sales brah

Hit Bay State for deads, was planning on going to Anytime to do all of my accessory work afterwards since it's between BS and my house and I like the machines much better/know how much weight I should be using, but time snuck up on me as it usually does, gotta go hit the light stuff after work, around 10:20.
No PR today but solid work. Hit a few sumos during warmups but not as many as normal, sorta forgot tbh.

Didn't have any time to log my pull workout from the other day, but it was really, really solid. Hit some heavy ass bb rows to start, overhand. Been a long time since I've done that. 265 x 6 top set, some momentum but nothing unreasonable, felt great. Strength seemed to be good as ever. Got a little yucky with the boys in Boston that night however, still feeling it a bit during tonight's post-work lift. Just being honest. Still, everything was moving well besides bench, for which I pretty much decided fuk it and did some light reps.
8/18 - PUSH!
Bench - Deload basically
135 x 8
185 x 4
205 x 3 - felt WAY too heavy
205 x 3 - No thanks Jeff. Decided I'd see how OHP felt. Turns out much better.
155 x 5
OHP
95 x 5
105 x 3
115 x 3
125 x 3
115 x 4
105 x 7 - Overall happy with these numbers
DB Bench Slight Decline (25 lb bumper underneath front of bench)
80 x 4
95 x 3
85 x 7
75 x 10
70 x 11
DB Shoulder Press
40 x 12
50 x 11
45 x 12 - Did these differently than normal, no locking out, "suicide" grip or whatever you want to call it, interesting. Seemed much harder
Rope Pulldowns
42.5 x 8
50 x 10
50 x 10
42.5 x 10
Cable Flies
4 sets of 10-15 light weight
Reverse Straight Bar Pulldowns
65 x 12
65 x 12
80 x 5 into 57.5 x 7 into 35 x 8 slow - Up in all of these
DB Incline Flies
3 sets ranging from 25-45 lb, stopped conservatiely on 45 set because shoulder felt slightly irritated
Single Arm Pulldowns
15 x 10
10 x 15
Solid lift overall. Gonna eat my last meal and pass out.Boston - UMass - Sales brah

Thanks brotha! Lol deload bench, wish I knew it was gonna be that ****ty before I even bothered with the 205 sets, oh well. Ohp was ok for me, hah.
Strong session today, similar to last week's squat day and up in most everything.
8/19 - LEGS - SQUAT FOCUS
Squats to Box
215 x 5
265 x 3
285 x 1
- belt on -
305 x 3 - 4 is my PR and this felt much much easier, decided to try and hit a new 1RM
330 x 1 - Grinder of peace. Feltgoodman
305 x 1 - Lol was not ready for this one, all good
- belt off -
305 x 2 (PR for beltless) - Never done more than 295 without a belt and that was for a single, this felt great.
RDLs.
225 x 10
275 x 10 - +10 lb
315 x 8 - + 2 reps
315 x 6
225 x 8, 135 x 5
Quad Extensions
150 x 15
170 x 13
190 x 12
150 x 7 into 90 x 8
Seated Calf Raises
1 pps x 15
2 pps x 8
2 pps x 6
1 pps + 25s x 12
1 pps + 25s into 1 pps drop set
Lying Hamstring Curls
140 x 15 - + 15 lb
140 x 10
170 x 5 into drop set ~15 reps total
Calf Raises on Leg Press
2 pps x 15
2 pps x 15
Feelin good, feelin strong. Liking this new squat focus/deadlift focus split up I've got for legs. I knew it was a good idea but I always was stubborn and wanted to do both all of the time... I feel like this is definitely not only safer but just as intense, if not more optimal (hate to throw that word around but you know what I mean). Anyway I dig it. I missed RDLs.Boston - UMass - Sales brah

Yeah, that's a big part of why I'm saying **** it, let's see how lean I can get. I have no mental fatigue to speak of and my strength in MOST things (besides upper push movements) is still going up reasonably well.
I did have to take a power nap today though, ****ty sleep last night and was up at 7:30/out in the middle of nowhere at like 8:45 to help my dad take out a window and put in some drywall at my cousin's house. Stopped at Best Buy to get some new headphones since I shattered mine recently (they were actually your white ones Joe, I'm sorry breh I meant to tell you) and [passed out when I got back to the crib. Now I'm up, refreshed as ****, ready to hit up some pull day action. It's supposed to be a vertical pull focus, we'll see how everything goes!Boston - UMass - Sales brah

Reverse Fly Machine/Seated DB Laterals/DB Curl Finisher Variation Giant Set
4 sets of curls, 3 sets of the other movements, light weight minimal rest, as usual
Nothing crazy tonight, pulldown/curl numbers very slightly lower than last session, rows and shrugs felt strong. Didn't do my ab circuit I've been doing on pull days, oh well. Was in there for too long as is. Gonna rework this session next time with a bit less volume I think.Boston - UMass - Sales brah

Definitely a high volume session right there haha. But thats how I roll too... thats why a lot of the times I plan to do abs I don't... simply because I've already been there too long and don't want to stay longer.
At least at school I had the option of doing ab/cardio days only because it was a short walk from my house. Now I don't really have that option. So, gotta sacrifice something to make time for something else sometimes. SadfeelMy new bulking log. http://forum.bodybuilding.com/showthread.php?t=146899443&p=926377483#post926377483
