Not a bad day despite the horrible poison ivy all over my legs (had it for over a week finally getting better, ankles swollen as fuk though)
8/2 - LEGS!
Deads
315 x 3
365 x 1
405 x 1
455 x 1
405 x 3 - Was gonna rep out but this was honestly hard today, decided to say fukk it. Shoulda done squats first and then RDLs but oh well.
365 x 2
High Bar Squats to Box
215 x 5
265 x 3
285 x 3 - Really hard, which it shouldn't have been, so I took a few minutes and stopped being such a pussy
295 x 5 - Props to The Chariot for one of the sickest amp up songs I've ever heard, will post below
Narrow Stance Leg Press
3 pps x 10
4 pps x 10
5 pps + 10s x 15
5 pps + 10s x 8 - No sleeves today cause of the ivy, knee questionable on this set so called it there
Lying Hamstring Curls
120 x 12
135 x 12
135 x 12
SS w/
Quad Extensions
110 x 16
130 x 15 - Felt terrible on the ivy (wore sweatpants as usual so it wasn't gross, just uncomfortable) so stopped
Calves on Leg Press
2 pps x 12
2 pps + 25s x 10
2 pps + 35s x 10
3 pps x 8
3 pps x 6 into 2 pps x 10 drop set
Called a PT my buddy recommended to me earlier today and left a message. Looks like he accepts my insurance provider so hopefully I'll be able to get my knee checked out soon. Happy with the squat PR even if deads sucked, I shouldn't have bothered with them today. Back feels great and everything but meh, CNS is probably shot from the heavy work I did at Bay State. I'm considering stopping heavy deads altogether unless I'm at that gym, lol. Just such a better atmosphere/better bars/better everything there.
Just in case anyone feels like PRing hard:

Morning weight: 192.2 - Down a full pound from my last low, woo woo.
Progress pic from a snapchat I took this morning that I threw on Instagram, lewl
Officially a douchebag now, the shirtless pic on instrgram line has been crossed, feelsgoodman. Also, notice the hostpital bands on my wrist. Went to the ER at 1 this morning cause my ankles were swollen as FUK, reaction from the poison ivy. They gave me prednisone, took my first dose last night. Peppering my angus for water bloat, feelsbadman.
Bench focus push day in 45, can I get a HELL YEAH!?

Lmao thanks man, never heard that second expression but I'll take it as a compliment! Haha. Figured I'd get a pic up before I'm potentially ****ed by water bloat. Sort of interested to see how the prednisone will affect me.
Strength was sorta ****ty today, not sure if that's any indication or not, lul. Then again, I was up until 4 (slept plenty but still), had a small breakfast, unusually low cals/carbs yesterday and this morning, etc. Probably a few reasons. Not terrible, anyway.
8/3 - PUSH!
Bench
135 x 8
185 x 5
205 x 2
225 x 2 Belted - Not really so bad I guess, 3 is my PR for no lift out/no spotter and my head was NOT in it for some reason... felt heavy.
185 x 5
DB Bench Slight Decline (25 lb bumper under front of bench)
65 x 8
80 x 5
95 x 5
80 x 10
80 x 8
DB Seated Shoulder Press
20 x 15
45 x 15
45 x 10 - Not trying for anything special here, just some slow controlled high rep work
Rope Pushdowns
42.5 x 8
50 x 8
50 x 10
57.5 x 5 into 42.5 x 5 into 35 x 5
Cable Flies
4 sets of 20 x 10-12, 2 sets lower and 2 sets mid chest. Drop setted last one to 10 for more reps.
Straight Bar Reverse Pulldowns
57.5 x 12
57.5 x 10
72.5 x 5 into drop set, ~16 reps total
Not bad. Somewhat worried about going super high volume on the prednisone, idk. Probably overreacting since I'm only gonna be on it for 2 weeks, in a tapering off dosage. I've read some horror stories on the forums about it though, seems like it's basically anti-tech, lol. So swole I have to take catabolic steroids just to level the playing field. Not srs.Boston - UMass - Sales brah

Back to shrugging nearly acceptable amounts of weight comfortably. Props to Opeth and Jason Blaha for reminding me what a pussy I've been.
Neutral Grip Hammer Strength Rows

Feelin good, no signs of water retention or joint soreness from the meds at all, will see how I feel in the next 4-5 days.
Also picked up Mr. Hyde today cause I was almost out of Elite XT and I had a $15 off coupon at Vitamin Shoppe if I spent $75, solid ****ing product. First preworkout I've ever seen/used that actually isn't bull****ting you with its serving size, lol. None of this "take 1 scoop to assess tolerance before taking 2" bull**** to make it seem like it has more servings per tub. 1 scoop is legit all you need. I feel bad for dumb gym rats who are used to just taking 2+ scoops of whatever product without looking at the ingredient profile though... brb 600+ mg caffeine, brb dead
Edit: Still not good at this pose but I think I can actually flex my rhomboids now and not look like a complete ****ing moron, mirin tan lines?
